So let me start this by saying I had 3/4 of a bottle of Corona last night. Totally not what I wanted to do, but, I still had fun. Let's start with the bad. I should have taken the hint when I dropped my friend off after work, she said she was feeling depressed, so I told her to come to the party & hopefully she feels better. She said alright she'll come because she wanted to at least have a drink with me for my one year anniversary. I was like cool, I'll pick you up. So I go to the first party, chill for like an hour, take some pictures & meet everyone there, then I
head over to the main party. When I walk in, everyone's having a grand ol' time & I'm like cool cool. Everyone starts throwing drinks, smoke, & probably the kitchen sink at me, but I decline 'cause I say 'No no, gotta stay sober to pick up my friend ;P Well, she texts me she's ready, but will probably stay for like an hour. I'm like, cool, let's do this. So I go to pick her up &.....well, it goes downhill from here. She's pretty quiet in the car, very unlike herself, & then when we get to the party, she says she's having an 'anxiety attack' >.> So I'm like 'Uh, ok...whenever your ready to go, we can go, is it cool?' She's fine with me & we head in. Then the trouble starts. She doesn't talk to anyone, doesn't want to hug anyone, she talks with my friend (the one who was the Greaser in the pic) because he also works with me & that's cool, but then she just kind of clams up. Pokemon Trainer goes up & says 'Hi' to her, & she flips out on him....so that's when I just kind of wander off back to the party, & let her stay with my friend while I congregate. Well, next thing I know, she tugs on my shirt & wants to leave. Like seriously, it was no more than 10 mins. I was like, Uh, alright....I also take home a couple of my co-workers home because they need to work in
morning. So we pile back into the car, drive off, I drop her off, then I drop the 1st guy off, then when I was off to drop the other guy (who was Fidel Castro BTW ) I get a phone call: They're kicking everyone out, neighbors complained about the noise. WTF?!?! FFFFFFFFFFUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUU.........I didn't drink, I didn't smoke, I didn't get to talk to the girls, I didn't take any pictures. All because I was a chump & decided to play everyone's best friend & do rides. But you know what, I refused to go out like a bitch, so I vowed to make the best of it.


& this is where I talk about the positives. The costumes that everyone wore were awesome I had no clue my friend was going as Luigi until I got to the party & all things considered, he did a good job IMO. Yeah, none of our costumes were top of the line Cosplay proffessional shoot, but, we're broke! That & we didn't have a lot of time to work with XD There was (just like in the pictures) Ichigo, Roxas from Kingdom Hearts, Axel from Kingdom Hearts, the Knights Who Say 'NIII!', Poison Ivy, Lara Croft, Nurses, Maids, Catgirls, Princesses, Pirates, Police Officer, the guy from Scream & a whole gang of Greasers. My other friend died his hair green & just went wild, that was entertaining & as soon as I walked through the door the first time, a drunk@$$ Pokemon Trainer came & fell right on my arm: HEY STEVE!!! I'm WASTED!!!! I responded with 'Yeah, I can that (lawl.)' 'Dude, this girl, this girl right here...she's HELLA cute!' That's when I noticed the whole group of ladies & one caught my eye....then he walks right up to the 'hella cute' one & goes: Hey, hey....your HELLA cute!!! To which she kinda laughs nervously, then all the girls turn their heads (kinda like one single organism now that I think about it.... ) & turn their attention to him. They kind of haze him for being wasted & still trying to spit game, so I take my leave & figure 'I'll come back later & talk to them, find out
what they're all about'. So I head outside, & there's my cousin, drunk as hell, talking to this lady & just having a blast. She was actually pretty cool, & he seemed to be making a lot of progress with her. Not only that, she was paying attention & following his drunken ramblings I asked him this morning at breakfast if he pulled the digits, & he goes 'Uh, I think I did....' I asked him what her name was & he goes: 'You know what, I don't remember!' Awzm. I was happy for him though, he had a blast & a half plus he always said he'd never cosplay yet he <3ed his Wario. The best I got was a very nice girl, who although wasn't quite my tastes, well....she apparently offered to be my
Princess Peach Unfortunately, she wasn't quite my type & I didn't have enough alcohol.......but yeah ;P Unfortunately when I got back to the party, the group of ladies were gone so I didn't find out anything about them, but I found out who they were & hopefully they come over for the next get together. So in conclusion, I didn't have the party of a lifetime like I was hoping, but there were still some shining moments in the night, & the costumes rocked, the ones who were at the party had a blast & we got some new people introduced into our circle who hopefully will come around more often. 'sides, there's always next year, & it gives me enough time to build my next costume/project plus save
some cash for alcohol....which we ran out of, which is why I couldn't drink anything -.-;

I try. Apparently my friend Pokemon Trainer scored himself a date with the girl he was drunkingly hanging off of all night long Gotta give the Kid props (Oh, he also sings on command. Should try it sometime, slamming your hands on the table helps too)
