Coincidentally I've got plans to make a "The Soldier" outfit.... since I can actually do most of his mannerisms and his voice. Finding the right jacket though has proven difficult.

If anybody knows "Lupin the Third", I've been cosplaying Inspector Zenigata for quite some time now. It's the easier costume for me to do and I have lots of fun just being a ripe ass to the Lupin cosplayers. XD Been workin on growin me some sideburns...

(From the "Your Face Here!" thread)

Recently I've had a hankerin' to make that a dual costume. By day Zenigata, by night... Schwarzwald!

...well... just gotta figure out how to do the bandaged mask right (traffic cone with tea-dyed gauze?) and the stupid neck brace. Despite what you may think using a standard foam neck brace will not work for the aesthetic or practically (too fluffy).
(Perhaps Matt/Zach can recommend one of their costume crew for advice?)

They're just so much more... interesting, in my opinion. Also... who says Ganondorf is a bad guy? Wink

I can't believe I never noticed how perfect your face is for a Sephiroth cosplay.

So far our "group" has a Scout, Pyro, Heavy, Sniper, Medic, and Spy.

And this is certain to show just how long I've been into these characters...

Here's me and my brother on Halloween, circa 1987. I'm Link, and he's Fireflower Mario:

So if as a youngling you were Link, and as an adult you were Ganondorf, would this create a paradox...? Shocked

I'm kinda ashamed of that.

Hehe just got rid of my deck ^^ (means, gave it to my sibling cause it gets pretty emberassing keeping them at your room) sweet memories of dueling classmates out of their rarest cards using a deck without any freakin Blue Eyes White Dragon. god I hate that thing.

Also, missed the Elf Fantasy Fair this year, which is pretty much the only place in Holland where its legitimate to cosplay. Too bad cause I wanted to see if I could pull off a Medic from Team Fortress.

The Sephiroth costume is amazing, but Ganondorf is too badass to have Sephiroth even compare

One of the benifets to living in Australia I noticed was/is that we are more laid back and don't react as...... wildly... when something rouses our suspicions. I don't have photo's myself but my friends video taped me walking through the local shopping mall a friday night in a full swat attire (boots, jacket, gloves, gas mask, helmet.. you name it, I had it on) and while it definately turned heads and got reactions out of people I am under the heavy impression that such a stunt would go terribly bad for me if I was to do the same thing in USA.

It was pretty funny going into Hungry Jacks (ala "Burger King" ) in this attire and order a soft serve icecream from the slightly intimidated cashier. Laughing I'll try and track down some photo's or upload the video somewhere so as to solidify my story. Very Happy
