hmmm, Currently I'm reading the "Night World" series by L.J Smith, I really enjoy her stuff, so it's pretty good.
I've also re-read Battle Royale by Koushun Takami. Which is really good!

I'm currently working my way through The Rest is Noise by Alex Ross. Those of you that want to get into classical music of the 20th Century, I highly recommend this book to all of you!

Fight Club is actually tied for first of all time favorite book. The one it is tied with is Lullaby also by Palahniuk.

There'll be a part 2? We'll have more kick-ass western style shoot outs with the bourbon kid? kick-ass.

read trough 4 pretty books in 10 days ^^ yeah, france was boring. plenty of pretty girls, but that doesnt work since they talk french cause they are frenche, in France.

First book I finished was Misery. a extremely tense book written by Stephan King. Writer gets fucked in a car accident, saved by his obsessive insane fan, and isolated from the outside world with crippled legs.
Everything is eventual; short stories by stephan king
Lazarus Vendetta; Nano Machines, Terrorism a little like: Da Vinci Code - bible exposition (+action times 0.5 book with no name)
Eyes of the Dragon; Grim fantasy story thing.

It may be a german description, but the book itself is in english.

I'm no German, although Austria had been a part of it for 7 years.Vienna is my hometown,I love it with all it's ups and downs.Oh yes,I'm a guy btw ^^

German is a very difficult language to learn. And your effort...well,I understood you, that's not that bad ^^ I just have to guess.what Fobby tries to tell us oO

No offence taken. We have adopted french and english words into our dictionary, and what remains is very similar to german ^^ Also dutch is said to be one of the fastest talking languages.

why yes I am in a trivial mood. why do you ask?

I can't remember asking anything, but ok ^^ When I was 8 or 9,I played a game for the NES called Solstice or something. The manual was almost useless(no german part),the dutch part was the only thing I could somehow understand.Since then, the dutch language has a special place in my heart ^^

Finished Diary a few days ago and it blew my mind! I just love being blasted with a huge plot twist and then seeing that every single little minuscule detail was a hint at what was to come. Just a great conspiracy and how everything related. AHH WHERE'S SPIRE? WE MUST DISCUSS THE AWESOMENESS!

Alos, I hope to be getting more Chuck Palahniuk books come Saturday.

Interesting shift from the first book. Dramas and dangers seem much more personal this time around, what with the upped political/religious tensions and morality issues. I'm actually kind of shocked at how well the transition's handled from the first book. So far, of the new characters to be introduced I think Skytale and Hayt are pretty rock'n. Edric's kinda cool, in a fishy kind of way.

Really? My copy has been sitting on my bookshelf for years. I'll have to dig it out and see if my version does too.

I'm an absolutely huge bibliophile. Not only is my room filled with books, the attic and my garage are packed with boxes of them. The vast majority of which I've read. And I can never sort them out because as soon as I start picking through them I remember something that happened, so have to flick through and read it again...

Here's three of my absolute favourites:

John Dies At The End (David Wong)
I read the entire thing in two sittings because I simply couldn't put it down. It's not a horror with comedy bits or a comedy with horror bits; it somehow manages to be both at the same time. I've never read a book before that's managed to make me laugh my arse off and brick myself in terror at the same time. The film is in production, whooo.

War With the Newts (Karel Capek)
Nobody has read this book. Nobody. Probably because it's a satirical scifi written by a Czech guy in 1936. The humour is so dark it's fantastic. Seriously, if anybody here has read it I'll totally buy you a beer.

American Psycho (Bret Easton Ellis)
The first third of the book is boring as hell, but once you get through it you realise how important it was. And the twist...holy shit. I actually dropped the book in surprise when I realised it. Mind = blown. Just don't leave it lying around polite company; let's just say it desensitized me to an awful lot of strong swear words.

Finished Dune Messiah. The ending, to say the least, kicked ass. You basically know how it's going to end from the beginning, and then it goes "No. Fuck you. I'm going to do exactly what I said I was going to, but totally differently from what you thought was going to happen."
