MOUTH WASH

According to scientists, there's a link between mouth wash and cancer. That is to say that mouth wash supposedly aggrevates or causes cancer. How steep a price will YOU pay for dental hygiene? affraid
I thought mouth wash was suppose to kill the bacteria that can cause diseases of the mouth.

Which is what makes it so strange, but... scientists say it causes cancer. Suspect

it seems to be the trend in Holland as well...discovering how stuff is linked to cancer....I wish I was fucking kidding but they discovered CHEESE (or rather the orange side of it) causes cancer....Now I'm going out for a limb here but how does one test that? Stuff a hobo with free cheese the rest of his life and see what happens?

Also lets not forget; drugs. Where you get in major trouble for smoking a joint in the US, I have classmates who can come in stoned without it being a big deal. I pretty much agree with the viewpoint of a few politicians on drugs; legalising helps keeping it in check. Thou shall not sell XTC with bits of glass in it. Thou shall not sell sugar, saying its coke.

Off course, I am one of the few 17 yo that never got stoned, high or drunk.....

And surprise, surprise; hookers. They might be bad in the US, or Aussie, but 90% of the tourists that go to Amsterdam go for drugs or hookers. That must be quite a few tourist a whore...Say one of these whores has a funny decease and you practically payed to become sterile, and along with you quite a few other (un)satisfied customers.

but then....what do I know....I'll stay here in my own little world, which I soon have to leave to live with 3 chicks I dont know for my study.....

It seems like EVERYTHING is bad for your health, these days. Seriously, I hadn't heard of the cheese thing, and I am not likely to worry about it--I love cheese. If something I love is going to kill me, I'd rather die happy with something I love, than die of something else without it!!

Another item is america's beloved airsoft weaponry, I was shocked and in awe when I visited wallmart to see a large array of assorted airsoft guns and ammo with which to use it. I got tagged by those pellets fairly close range and they sting quite a bit, one blister I got has finally healed >.<

Understandable that they are illegal in Australia, I know a few too many people would get a bit more then carried away with them. Fortunately paintball is legal! Very Happy

My friend said that there is a rare energy drink called 'Mana'. Now, When I first heard about it, he said that it could actually kill you if you drank 20.

558 mg of Caffiene ftw~ (180 is legal limit)

My metabolism stops me from getting a "buzz" out of energy drinks but I'm not gonna assume that drinking 27 cans of monster or the like wouldn't do me in, that's a pretty bloody fair effort. Suprised the guy lasted long enough to drink that many in under 25 minutes without eratically shaking the can or far worser symptopms. Shocked

No, you see, there's a legal limit to how much caffiene companies can put in/on their products.

Lol, I love it because it's so true

And my input on the energy drink thing is, why would you be stupid enough to drink 27 cans of monster... in 25 minutes? Thats just pure stupidity. I love Monster, it tastes great but I only drink it every once in a while, I don't see the point of drinking that many... ever.

I got to a point where I was drinking soda non-stop. I really felt like crap, doing so. Now, I only drink soda once a day or so. I love water. Plus, you can add healthy things to it. Like lemons, limes and oranges!

Sugar....enough said.

Even though I am pretty uhealthy foodwise I've definitly got in better shape once I cut back on pop/soda and just eating & drinking in general. August 2006 I was at 280 pds and by September 1st under 200. I lost 80 pds in a month by basically stop eating. Been suffering ever since though Sad

It's safe to say that taking in too much of anything can prove to be extremely unhealthy for you over a long period of time, especially when it comes to consuming foods that are not-so-good for you; things like fast food, energy drinks, soda, etc. I used to be a major sodaholic too - and it did a real number on my health after a while. I decided to switch over to water and haven't gone back since, as well as substituting tea for Coke to get the amount of caffeine I needed to stay awake through the day. Smile
