I actually saw that just a few minutes ago and knew it was an easter egg BUT didn't know where from. Thanks now I realize WHY I recognized it!

Well, I thought the first episode was really well done and the costumes were amazing(Nana looked freaking creepy with that uni brow combined with a wicked grin like that). My favorite character so far has to be Wario, followed by Kirby.

Great job on the first episode, looking forward to future episodes.

Kirby was a fun character, but I wouldn't put him near my favorite. He's really more of a gag than a character at this point.

I really enjoyed the show in almost every aspect. One of the most visual aspects that I enjoyed was the actual costume and make-up effects. The giant noses for Mario, Luigi and Wario did not seem out of place or unusual like what most fan videos have done in the past. It really stood out as one of the best parts in my opinion.

I enjoyed the monologues of Luigi, the dialog in and of itself was phenomenal. The fact that all of this was going on and no one was cracking up hysterically is a testimony of their dedication. ( I know I couldn't do half the things there without breaking a smile. )

So dialog, make-up and effects, all good stuff.

I can't really say much about the music I don't really remember it, so I guess that's a downside...it's forgettable?.....yeah I've got nothing really.

I don't think I posted here yet.....

Anyway, I think the first episode was extremely well done. The production values were awesome, and the atmosphere was fitting. I was pleasantly surprized to see that this just isn't another one of those "lol lets maek fun of BRAAAWL" series.

Also, loved the "Sonic Boom" ringtone. That was made of pure win.

EDIT: Oh, and I'm really looking forward to how you'll portray Marth and Ike (if you do). *is huge Fire Emblem freak*

I thin this is very well thought of. It has a very nice layout, and it's funny to see the characters I grew up with having sex and killing each other! Razz But yeah I really like it and I hope to see more.

I'll echo what everyone else has been saying, because it's so true - This is brilliant.

I am curious as what you'll do with the part-human characters in Brawl, like Fox, Yoshi, Donkey Kong, or trickiest (I think) Mr. Game and Watch. That said, I'd be fine with not seeing them at all if they couldn't play out well.

Even more than that, are there any plans for the bosses like the Hands or Tabuu?

Great job guys I love the webisode and can't wait for Ep 2. Like other people have said Id love to help out for no cost since I do have a Film Studies minor. Love to work.

Collegehumor.com did a special called Street Fighter: The Later Years with some cool CGI stuff you could check out for ideas with how to go with Mr Time and Watch, Tabuu or any other character that would be hard to cast.

I was just wondering if you were gonna keep the good guys in the game as good guys and bad guys in the game as bad guys, or have it be a crapshoot whether a character is a good guy or not?

This one episode was greater than the game itself. Please keep this series going!

I remember that one. It was okay. It's GAME and Watch, not Time and Watch. And they could probably just use a carboard cutout and make funny sound effects for him. Again, I don't think Tabuu is going to end up having a place in the series. This series mainly exists to poke fun at the games of the Nintendo franchise, and is using Brawl as a framing device. To focus too much on the actual plot of Brawl itself would defeat the purpose of the webseries.

I can only say what everyone has been saying for pages: That it was extremely well done! At first, I thought this was gonna be bad like so many things before this, but in the end, I was pleasantly surprised.

Thank you for making this series! I donated too, because I felt that this could become so great, I just had to do it.

I hope you will continue, I wish you the best of luck! ^^

Yeah, most of these "dark reinterpretations" don't really work out too well. Case in point: Middle-Aged Mutant Ninja Turtles.

They said they were aiming for 5-6 episodes. Hopefully the latter, which would make it about the length of a full movie in total.

I love this series, I wish i'd go on forever BUT such things could end up very boring and old.

So I hope when it does end it ends good and fitting. Weither it be 3 episodes or 30.

Or... they could make 100 episodes, like RvB.

RvB could afford to make 100 episodes because it cost practically nothing to make. Plus, each of these are a whole lot longer than a single episode of RvB. 5-6 seems like a good number for now. Maybe with the right amount of funds, they could produce a Season 2.

Simply amazing.

I must admit, the portrayal of my precious Kirby as such a creepy fellow is a shocker but it's just too amusing! It would make sense for such a dark portrayal of the Nintendo universe to depict Kirby as such considering his power. In the end, it's just too perfect and I await to see how the rest will appear!

Fantastic!

I wonder how this will affect Meta Knight. I know the news broadcast said it was Mario and Luigi who captured Kirby, but wouldn't Meta Knight have made more sense?
