If this went down, would you put your maid costume on & do a shoot with him? Cool

Edit : Oh yah, did Escapist give you that money yet? Because that was an epic moment during the panel, when Binkx went practicly (sp) Stewie on Brian 'Where's...where's my money?! *punch* Where's my money?!' (Exaggeration ;P)

How did you do Ganon's sideburns and eyebrows? It looks really convincing!

Ganon's hair, side burns and eyebrows are all custom made. The hair is a hand made wig and the sideburns are attached to it and then the eyebrows are stenciled, cut and then attached via a front lace method. It took about 2 1/2 hours to apply the first time, about 45 minute the second and third. It's pretty intense tho because it takes a lot of prosaide glue to keep it on.

I'm not sure if someone already asked this, but where do you get most of your supplies for costumes?

Most of the costumes for the first two or three episodes were made or found by me at different thrift or supply stores. I can't tell you how hard it was to find that green Luigi shirt. A great deal of our costumes are things that are altered from already existing stuff but other things like Dedede need to be made specifically for the shoots. And that means a trip down to the fabric district in LA. I'm not really doing costumes anymore because a lot of the make up stuff I do takes a while to prepare and apply.

This doesn't suprise me, no matter how many times I watch it, Dedede's costume still amazes and impresses me. I can't explain how good that costume came out, it's so good.

Now that Bowser's been revealed, I have to say it was VERY impressive. I loved how realistic and stylized it was.

I'm a theatre major who loves costumes so I have to ask...
1) Was the prosthetic custom-made or did you buy it somewhere?
2) How much did the whole costume cost, roughly?

Prosthetic was purchased but I did the coloring and I am...relieved it will not be a reoccurring character because poor Jordan had 5 prosthetics for Bowser. The costume however was not made by me but featured many layers. I don't have a quote for a price.

As for PT's costume, that was something I whipped together. You are welcome to pm me if you want your own so we can discuss size and price.

I have a question- how did you make the shells of the koopa troopers in Bowser's fortress? A while ago my friend and I considered cosplaying as some troopers, but the shell was a bit of a logistic nightmare. They looked absolute brilliant though in this ep- how did you manage it?

I didn't make the shells myself but they were made from sledding discs and I think insulation piping around the edges then painted.

I was very impressed by Bowser's appearance. I was really scared that he would look bad. But I didn't give guys enough credit. Where were you guys in '93 when they did the Mario movie? lol Overall, most of the characters looked great. Donkey Kong, Diddy Kong, and Sonic were probably the worst costumes, but we still knew who they were. And that's what matters. Oh yeah! Was Donkey Kong's eye suppose to come off in the fight with MArio? You did a great job with the beaked characters like DDD and Falco. Their mouths moved very naturally.

Haha, that was kind of the idea. After spending a LOT of time working on how we could make their costumes on our budget at the time, we ended up agreeing on going the more humorous route and altering a couple of monkey suits, using ping-pong balls for their creepy, "leering" eyes (one of their stronger traits in the game, imo. I mean seriously, pause any match with Donkey Kong and zoom in. He's totally leering at the opponent in an inappropriate fashion).

...Aaaand another thread I'm late too.

I know its been said a lot already, but wonderful costumes all around!

I thought it looked great from the beginning, but I especially loved Peach's wig in the flashback. it looked so fluffy and accurate without looking horribly fake.

Well done again on everything!

Really didn't want to create an entire thread just for this, but noticed there was nothing specific to props, so I thought I'd ask here. How about did you go about making the bob-omb? What materials were used?

Wow, a friend pointed us to this site and project and I must say it's pretty kick-butt.

Mark and I really like how you transformed our snake prosthetic into Bowser, it worked out really well! It's very impressive, We'll have to give that a try sometime Very Happy

We'd like to know if there are any clear photos/shots of Bowser's Face? We'd love to have permission to put them up into a customer gallery on our site.

I also wish I'd known about this project sooner, I probably could have provided/donated/discounted more of the prosthetics and such. Ah well...
