Love the costumes and can't even fathom the number of hours spent working on them or how much they cost. Perfect job

What exactly is the costume budget, by the way? The donators deserve to know what they're paying for, I think.

I love the costumes of brawl. Their not to overly flamboyant but they still stay true to the characters roots. The only real flamboyant one is peach with her pink dress XD.

Um...I think we spent about 5 days getting them ready and making them. There was a good deal that were pulled for the shoot from thrift stores (We completely lucked out on getting matching overall sets for the Bro's.) but Peach was made as sort of a combined effort by my friend J and myself. Pretty much what happens is we make a list of what needs to be bought/made and start checking it off. We just had a meeting yesterday for episode 3 and so now I'm working on compiling new characters and re-vamping some of the old ones. We do try and keep the cost to a minimum and a lot of these costumes don't necessarily need to look good, they just need to look good on film. You would be surprised at how much felt ended up being used.

Things that were felt: Toad vests, Toad hats, Bro's hats, Wario hat to name a few.
These are all wonderful things you learn when you go to the Star Trek prop and costume exhibit and see some of the shamefully asinine things they use for costuming (EX: Bubble wrap. No joke.)

I'm looking to put together a Roman Bellic costume for Halloween. Any advice?

I can't believe all those things were made of felt! It really is impossible to tell, excellent job. I'm thinking of throwing together a Black Knight (Fire Emblem) outfit made out of cardboard. Or something.

Last year, I made a T-Block from Tetris out of cardboard. Pretty neat stuff.

I imagine it is. To Diana and other awesome people: Any costumes coming up that'll rock our socks, or that you're particularly proud of? No names, of course.

Another question: Do all the actors have one main costume each, or are some actors playing more than one character?

I'm really anxious to see if (and how) you would plan on pulling off a Mr. Game and Watch. It seems like the most logical choice would be to make him a prop like kirby, but if by some divine happening you find an actor gifted enough to portray him i would be extremely excited to see how you would make a G&W costume.

I figured it would be unlikely, i was just looking for ideas since my friends and I planning a cosplay, and my friend has his heart set on dressing up as Mr. Game and Watch... somehow.
The costumes here fit our criteria, since they are both good and fit a tight budget.

An all-black body suit + a skillet = pure genius.

I want a Luigi hat! I've searched high and low for one and that is the most accurate one I've ever seen.

I think it's made out of felt. You could probably make one with supplies from your local craft store.

Spoiler Alert, i suppose.

I think it's worth noting that i found this BEFORE any episodes featuring link were released

Props on the militarized link costume, by the way. I like it a lot.
