It's happening! It's happening! Not even half the game is gone and Montreal is DESTROYING the Penguins 4-0! I can't believe it! Marc-André Fleury was kicked out of the game!

*Post will be updated as the match goes.*

4-1. Pitts seem to have gained a little life. We must squash them!

That one that made it 4on4, looked like Pitts initially speared the goalie causing the ruckus. But it's not as bad as it looked on replay.

Chicago, tho at this point (providing Philly gets eliminated by Boston) I'm happy if anyone wins. Boston for Marc Savard (former Oshawa General and my favourite hockey player), Chicago just because of their skill, San Jose cuz I like Nabokov and Vlasic, and Montreal because of being Canadian, Subban, Halak, Cammilari (sp?) and for eliminating Pittsburgh.

I don't care what people can say, the Habs are at the top of their art. You DON'T want to play against them right now.

East Final, here we go!

We can think of three reasons not to try this stunt here in the United States. First, Metro says it is not clear how many of the 200 young players actually touched the ball, something that would be unacceptable in our "everybody gets a chance to play" culture. Second, the poor parent in charge of bringing snacks to the game would practically go broke from the grocery bill. And finally, the "nice game" handshakes at the end would take all day.
This couldn't be any more true.

They're gonna need one hell of a big mini-van if they want to bring all these kids back home.

Bump for World cup.

Well, with America and Italy already out, I'm hoping for my #3 and #4 teams, Germany and the Netherlands respectively, to match off in the Final round. Who did you guys want to win and who do you want between Germany and Spain, then the winner vs the Netherlands?

out of the top four right now I'm with you on Germany vs Netherlands. And between those two, I'd probably prefer Germany.

When USA got beat, a friend posted on Facebook "And now America no longer cares about soccer again," which is kinda true. I was happy though at how far they got, especially for going farther than France and Italy and beating England in their section (even with that goal that got taken away). I was kinda rooting for Brazil then on that side of the bracket, but they're out, and Spain on the other side. I want Spain to win for the reason that I rode a lion there.
