Most people haven't played Fire Emblem, its kind of a niche market in America. As for Metroid though... scratch

Fire Emblem is one where you like it or don't; there isn't really a middle ground. If you like turn-based strategy games, I'd recommend picking it up. There are also RPG elements like taking different paths, side-quests (FE7 Only), and leveling up, so it could be considered as an RPG, but it's primarily a strategy game. It's like Advanced Wars only if you lose a guy, they're gone forever (some exceptins may apply). And IMO it's a better game.

Fire Emblem is one of my more liked franchises from the Big N, but it really hasn't caught on here. Then again, Path of Radiance was the first game to be released in the US, and that was only because Marth and Roy were so well liked in Melee.

Ummmm... no. Nintendo released two Fire Emblem games before path of Radiance. Them being Fire Emblem and Fire Emblem: Sacred Stones, both the 7th and 8th installments for the franchise and both for the GBA. So to say it hasn't really caught on here, is kind of an understatement, but not much as it isn't widely known.

The last bossbattle in Kingdom Hearts 2 was pretty cool the first time i played through it, and the fight against the skull beast from the desert prison in Legend of Zelda: Twilight Princess is also among my favorites Razz But (SPOILER) i think i gotta settle on Cabadath and John Defoe, in the freeware adventure game 6 days a skeptic. it was a magnificent ending to a great series =D

Besides the last boss, Stallord was the only boss I liked in that game. Sad

The KH series has a ton of boss battles that i reflect upon very fondly.

Can't comment on any of those. Never played any KH games. My roommate is playing through it right now, and I'm watching/studying, but...meh.

I just remembered another, the Axem Rangers in Mario RPG, just for being awesome. And everything in the game in the Booster saga is pretty memorable, I still don't fully understand what happened.

I'm a fan of THAT Dracula, though.

"Die monster!! You don't belong in this world!!"
"It is not by my hand that I am once again given flesh. I was brought back by... HUMANS... who wished to pay ME tribute."
"Tribute!? You steal men's souls!! And make them your slaves!!"
"Perhaps the same can be said of ALL religions."
"Mankind ill needs a savior such as you!!"
"Bah! What is a MAN!" *tinkle, crash!* "A miserable pile of SECRETS! But enough of this- HAVE AT YOU!"

It might not be considered a boss since its an MMO, but its a mission and it DOES take 18 people to even hope to win...the Arch Angels. Only 5 of them, and it takes 18 players to even hope to defeat them. That, and most strategies that involve fighting them, except for REALLY good guild's of people, tend to involve a wipe in the middle of it, reraising, and then finishing the rest in a 2nd attempt.

The gameshow battles with Gruntilda in Banjo Kazooie and Banjo-Tooie were both pretty great.

The gameshow-esque remix of Grunty's theme was really sweet as well.
