Roc's Cape is hax and you know it. You get it at the END of the game for a reason.

Not for a puzzle game. Or, at least, a game with puzzles.

well....ya gotta consider, each puzzle in the games are made with the items that you are given in mind, so it all works out in the end. I mean, come on....that weird spinning thing in TP was crazy, but it worked cause the game was made to accommodate it.

Still, flying? Not really very Link-like. Works in 2D, 3D, not so much, I'd wager.

What hasn't Link done? What I find weird is that he can fly from picking up a cuckoo chicken thing. So why shouldn't he be able to fly with a cape?

Haha, I didn't think of the chicken flying. That's an awesome move.

And yea Gorblax, I'll concede on that point. It worked quite nicely in the 2-D Zelda games like Link's Awakening is, but it would be kinda.....odd in 3-D.

Like you said Relmitos, itreally depends on the overall structure of the game. I wouldn't expect anything too radical though. did you guys here anything about the Project Deluge/Valley of the Flood rumour? It was completely debunked, but it was a cool idea.

I don't even know what those rumors are, so that's a "no, I haven't heard anything about them",

Wow, that's awesome....a mod is the first person to post in a topic that I'm busy typing a response to. Way to Ninja, Smashbro!

Here's the only link (no pun intended) left that I could find with the full "interview."

We pretty much all new it was fake, but loved the concept.

I read a ton of Aonuma interviews. It's easy to tell from the "quotes" that it isn't him.

Most of us could too, but there are always those who cling to rumors because its what they want to hear.

I have to say to help our 'it's obviously a rumor'...that just seems to radical a change for Nintendo to attempt. A Zelda game without Link...such a change to such a dark time? When's the hero insane as well? I don't think I've ever heard of a game with an insane hero.

^Aside from a game like Manhunt2? Most of us actually thought this would have been cooler than what Nintendo is actually going to go with. :/

Never played that, and I never said that no one would like it. I just said that it seems unlikely that Nintendo would do such a thing.

Never played either Manhunt either. I know that's not what you meant, Smile I was just saying that, yeah, it wasn't likely in any sense of the word.

After reviewing this game.....I have to point out, I don't believe Nintendo had a hand in it. Also, technically it DID have Link in it, and it wasn't a darker period of time then most of the other games, as far as I can tell
