Ohyeh I've seen that one. yeh it makes a lot of sense, but after watching billions of what these peoples opinions of the time line, I've come to not really believe in any of them at all. Although most of them seem very logical, i'd like to think that nintendo is just 'winging it' when it comes to stories/plots OF legend of zelda games.
I do you see anybody trynna make a mario timeline?

they didn't cause unlike with legend of zelda, it would be dumb. The characters NEVER change in mario, and same goes for mushroom kingdom pretty much all the time. and where to fit the paper mario series @_@

Metriod, Fire emblem, F-Zero, star fox, ect. have a clear time line

the Legend of Zelda is the only "serous" series of nintendo's without a solid time line. unlike the other games mentioned may or may not have a solid time line or they could be "winging it"

but they could have a general idea...

only Shigeru Miyamoto has an idea

Back on subject, the Magic Rod is still cool. =[

I still find it funny that link can only jump on command in the 2-D games and in OoT he goes faster backwards than forwards

Fire Emblem doesn't really have a set timeline... There's alternate universes for each game. Within each universe there's a set timeline, but to say there's a timeline overall is a fallacy.

No, Iliad has it right. Aside from the games that are direct sequels or prequels, there is no definite time line between each separate worlds.

Serenes Forest was the place I went to for all things Fire Emblem. And there's a time line...
http://www.serenesforest.net/general/timeline.html
Before continuing, it should be noted that the Fire Emblem games do not share a common timeline.

That made sense! =O

Watched the other 2 vids that respond to questions about it and it makes it seem even more sense.

Edit: Well as I look into it more I now wonder which side of the timeline FSA and LttP go to.

FSA in thy humble option it's pre OoT other than that Lancin's reasoning is impeccable

Ah I just remembered that the 7 sages do seal Ganon in TP so FSA and LttP could fit in the Child Link saga. Still, the fact that Ganon would suddenly go from being human to being a pig (TP to FSA) makes me wonder if FSA - LA should go on Adult Link side.

OoT is the first in the series guaranteed. As this Ganondorf's first appearance as the first male born into the Gerudos for some time. Meaning that OoT is the era in which Ganondorf is born and rises to power. This alone means OoT is the 1st.
