I made multiple post about it. How did you think I was able to play with suicicde? He is in Texas I am in illinois. Unless it is by magic we can not play unless it was online.

Hey, what program do you guys use for D&D? My DM is moving soon but we want to keep playing via the internets.

if we are going to DnD over the internet, count me in! Seriously, i'd fukcing love to DnD, but there's no animo for it, not even in the LARP scene, except for Vampire/Masquerade.

Although I am enthralled by the idea, remember, we all live in different timezones, and I have found it impossible to find a time that includes all three of our regions and doesn't have someone up at 2 - 5am. We could probably swing just two regions. It would be tough but at least possible.

Lol That is my saying every time I make a D&D character. Good is just so....boring.

Also it would be good if you guys had mics. Do not need them. But it would be more easy.

I don't think I've ever played evil, if I did I'd want to be lawful for sure. Most of my DMs outlaw evil for their campaigns. Good is just so rewarding, and being a troupe of good heroes is great fun. Everyone tends to work together, and less people stab each other in the back (in the game I just finished, everyone was chaotic neutral. It was awful, no one could trust anyone, and the entire dungeon was just a contest of who could steal the most loot without the rest of the party knowing. (which I won :p))

Maybe good is just too hardcore for you guys.

EDIT: I have a mic.

I've only played an evil character once, and I bloody loved it. She was a pirate captain with +25 Intimidation. Also every time she gave herself a promotion she got a bigger hat. I think it was about half her size by the time she (spectacularly) died.

Psst, Ansem, we're in similar timezones. I'd be up for a game if you are.

I've got a mic, but to be honest D&D-wise I'm only familiar with 3.5. I can run a mean World of Darkness, and apparently they're still talking about my legendary Pokemon Mystery Dungeon campaign back at my uni's RP society. I'd also love to try a game of Mouse Guard.

Saying that, I'm an RP whore. I'm up for anything!

I've heard nothing but bad things about Mouse Guard from people who've tried it. Themeatically, it's beautiful, but I've heard the system is terribad. It's a shame too, I was pretty eager to try it as well. If we manage to get together a stateside RPG, I can run World of Darkness, if you guys would prefer modern horror over high fantasy. It wouldn't be too much of a stretch for me to run Scion or Exalted too, but I'm much more at home with WoD. I'm willing to play anything else.

Funnily enough I've heard a lot of good things about it, though it has some problems. But never knock a system until you've tried it; most WoD fans hate Changing Breeds, but I think it's fantastic. Much better than Werewolf.

Although if I ran Mouse Guard I'd have to houserule it as British wildlife. Your first mission: getting that blasted hedgehog out of the city. Also prepare to shit bricks as you wander into the larder of a butcher bird...

I'd like to play, but I'll admit, I've never been sucked into DND before, so I'd be very newbish. I get the general idea of how it works, but uh, that's about it. The finer details, I don't know. If you don't wanna deal with the newbness, I'll understand, heh.

Although i'll admit I've never played it for myself, it was the only instance in which a system has been so bad, it's become necessary to stop playing. Changing Breeds is really really fun, but it isn't as complete as Werewolf, so it doesn't work for much more than a oneshot. What are people complaining about Changing Breeds? This is news to me.

I play a lot of Whitewolf games: Currently in a game of Exalted, but I've played Changing Breeds, Werewolf, Vampire, Hunter, Changeling, and Innocents. I've played DnD but I have a seething hatred for the D20 system, but despite them I'm also currently in a game of Pathfinder

Ok Vie clued me into teh goings on here - If I get enough people I'd be happy to try to host a game online =)
the program he was talkin about was a whiteboard style program called Gametable that allows for the combat movement and dungeon creation aspects, and even has dice generators built in. It also has a chat system for the nonCombat encounters.

if 3 or more people are interested I'll start working on a campaign, we'd just need to find a common time for everyone to play - 2 hours or more is great, but we can work with one if we have to. I agree with Surge tho this might be tough, but I think we can work something out. I'll get the Character Creator Program in a Zip file for everyone who wants to join ^^
