Those are good games, but not "Must Buy Console" games. If you already have a Wii, pick up MP3 and FE. But Okami, RE4, TP, SMG, and Brawl are REASONS to buy a Wii.

LIES. I personally thought Prime 3 trumped Twilight Princess overall. How's that for heresy?

Bwa ha. Granted, Twilight Princess is a game of the highest caliber, but its shortcomings were...noticable, and the areas it tried to expand the series with, well, didn't. Wolf segments were a bore, and the storyline was predictable. Midna rocks though. Forever.

RE4 and Okami are not must own Wii games as they are already on the PS2, granted, RE4 does play better on the Wii. And MP3 IS a must buy game. MP1 was great, MP2 was good, but just didn't do it for (too much back-tracking and ammo system was fail. But MP3 is friggen great. The controls are near perfect, it's got voice overs (rare for a Nintendo game) and is a beautiful game. As to say if it is better than MP1 is debatable as both rank highly for me.

It's like they took all the Navi jokes over the years, concentrated them into a single ball of evil, and Midna hatched out of it.

Enough with the No More Heroes references. No one gets them but you.

I cheated and looked the name up on Google, if you must know.

This is a really hard question to answer. I think like many people your first ever game always hold a special fondness in your heart. So I'd have to give one of my votes to Banjo Kazooie or Banjo Tooie. Play those games are some of my classic childhood memories.

Another game I have to mention is the first Super Smash Bros, it was the second game I ever played so I went in not knowing any of the the characters apart from the Pokemon (and that was only cause of the anime) and maybe Mario. Most people use their favourite characters from other games in Super Smash Bros but for me it was the other way around. I recognized my favourite characters from SSB and decided to play their games. So for having such an influence on my gaming preference I fell I must mention it

Finally, there's Earthbound. I only played it recently and I don't know what it was about it but my god I loved it. There's something about it that I just find so awesome.

Brawl, I'd say, is my third favorite fighting game, after Soul Calibur and Tekken 3.

Weldar: The Banjo Kazooie games were amazing, though I've only owned the second one. Never played Earthbound though. I keep hearing that they're incredible though. Maybe if they ever get released on teh virtual console I'll check them out.

That's kinda the same thing for me. I probably would've never played an F-Zero game or gotten into Fire Emblem and Metroid had it not been for Melee.

Now that you mention it, the same goes for me. I picked up Path of Radiance because of Marth and Roy and I loved it. I had already known about F-Zero though.
