Samus... Well, her overall armor design in Prime is the same as in other games... and in Primes 2 and 3, the difference is so trivial I don't see why it would warrant a change (notice I'm talking about the Varia Suit), plus the Varia design they gave her in Brawl follows the most proeminent design (being present in Metroid 2, Super, Fusion, and Prime 1). If you mean including the other armors... personally, I think there's too many of them. About the attacks, other than aesthetical changes, I don't see what difference would there be. Honestly, Samus is one of the characters I'm most satisfied with right now, at least in these regards. I mean, I think, visually, she's been done near-perfectly in Brawl.

Brawl
Just look at the Brawl version. Blocky arm cannon, retro helmet and an absurdly large crotch section. I mean, if Link got updated to the latest version, why is Samus still from the 90's? Also, why not update the attacks to look like their Prime versions?

Personally i disagree
Point one: Zelda Personally the Sheik Zelda combo works wonderfully for me with classic attacks from OoT (edited for obvious reasons)

Point two: Mario having his classic attacks from the Nes and Snes attacks just helps solidify the immortality of this Italian plumber, though i'd go back to the melee down B

Point three: Ganondorf should be Heavy, medium speed, and a slightly different move set. by adding a sword they could make him very unique also by keeping the side and down Bs and giving him something akin to Marth's neutral B and up B could make him is own Character while not rewriting his move-set completely.

point four: Samus needs no change!

I would have liked for Samus to have a Prime 3 update for Brawl. What i would have liked more, though, would be the light suit and phazon suit as alternate costumes.

Nintendo could have really pro-longed the life of Brawl if they had did DLC. The light suit is my favorite out of all the suits.

Dude, word! Also, I agree with DRTJR's point four. I like Brawl's design better than Prime 3's, and funnily enough for the very reasons Spont doesn't. Razz I mean, sure, you think those are bad, but the way I see it, it's SUPPOSED to be that way. The way the attacks look too.

Don't know why I didn't think of this sooner, but personally, I want Mario's air game to return to what it was in SSB64. I liked it so much better, his kicks were rather strong. Yea, I know, SSB64 Mario didn't have a spike, but eh, I always have problems hitting with it without getting mauled in the process. Mind you, I don't practice doing so, that would probably explain why.

Please good sir, i am not some sort of Barbarian. but, i agree that Melee Samus was better than than Brawl Samus

though i will say that I like the Zero suit samus more than the other two

Hm, well I know I definitely wouldn't have minded it for Sonic to have a little more punch to his attacks. Of course, if they did that, they might take away the speed that he absolutely reigns supreme in.

Other thing else I'd change, if I could change it, would be the clones' movesets. Did Fox really need TWO clones? : P

I would have added in megaman. Other then that I'm not nearly creative enough to think of any other tweaks besides nerfing Snake and Meta knight.
