On the topic of evolutionary science, I don't understand homosexuality, you can't be born a homosexual. It doesn't fit in with the grander scheme of things, it must be a choice, yet people constantly say that they didn't choose to be gay? This is my confused face.

Oh look, it's me and evolution again. Y'know, from a human perspective, homosexuality is actually a benefit to the species.

Because we have stupidly big heads and insist on walking on two legs human babies are born very premature. Because of this raising human children is a difficult process that lasts longer than any other animal. Luckily we humans are very social creatures and we have the support of our family and friends to help us.

This is where being gay is useful to the group. Now, although the goal in life is to pass down your genes, it doesn't mean direct descendants; it means anything that shares a large percentage of your genes. Gay couples, since they can't have children of their own, instead dote on their neices and nephews. The energy that would have been spent on their own children is instead spent on their close relatives. The children gain an extra carer, and so are more likely to survive, and their parents have their resources not stretched as far. It's win-win all round.

So actually, having a gay relative is a benefit Razz

Here's an article about it, btw

That's not a human Perspective darling, that's a scientists perspective.

Still, this doesn't explain why people "become" homosexual. I read once that a specific brain waive is involved, and it's present in most homosexual humans who were examined.
But to summ it: Is homosexuality genetic of environmental?

I'd say most high school boys. Most (not all) are a little less mature at that age

I am a High School Male, and I have kept my dick in my pants thus far.

Regardless on whether or not I have had a girl to whip it out on...

Gawd, my point is, being non-pervert can be achieved.

Hell, if anyone's insane....I started testing my own sanity age 6, wondering how its possible that anyone else has a concious as well. Everyone on the earth must be thinking something right now. Little hard to swallow as that is for a 6 year old, I convinced myself everyone else was a very advanced robot Razz

I got better.....sorta.

So then you hear voices in your head that you can not control? Asking because I know people who say they are but really are not.
