Not for me they didn't. My hands are too small and girly to fit round that massive great sack of potatoes. The problem was putting the logo right in the middle. What, in case you forgot what console you're playing? Then again, maybe Microsoft think girls don't play games. We're too busy hanging round the mall or something.

I quite liked the N64 controller. After the initial wtf-ness I found it really comfortable to use. Having the nunchuck seperate on the Wii I find a bit tricky. At every opportunity I set the controls option sideways. Oh, who am I kidding, the best controller ever was for the NES Razz

Your thoughts, Outlaw, on this matter, are the exact same as mine.

So, I show that to a friend, and she says "Xbox also has voice commands!". I ask her "Who cares?".

My favorite controller would have to be the GameCube's so far.

Cool glad we think alike. I too like the GameCube Wavebird the best as well.

Well I mean if your friend wants to throw voice commands and other misc. stuff then the Computer rapes all. Mods, Voice Commands, Web Browsing, Dedicated Servers, Server Lists, etc etc etc.

But since we are talking about Casual Gamers... well I don't think they care about Voice Commands.

THANK YOU!
Everybody I know says that it looks like someone threw up some buttons onto some plastic, but it feels natural to me. My hats go off to nintendo for not jumping on the Playstation controller design like Microsoft is. Nintendo always thinks outside the box.

The Gamecube controller was pretty good. But that doesn't mean Nintendo's always been good at that. Remember the N64? That thing only made sense if you had three hands. I don't think anyone at Nintendo actually HELD one before shipping it out, they just said we'd figure it out.

But more and more the 360 cost pretty much as much as a Wii. (The Arcade version, at least.)

What will really make or break the Natal is the price. (Which was rumored to be 250$ at E3 09, but Microsoft stated no more than 70$... IIRC.)

BTW, Fable 3 WILL use Natal.

Well see, Natal seems like an Addon to the 360 correct?

If it is, then it shouldn't be 250. That means that casual games have to buy a 360 and the Natal. Which probably will turn them off it. But if it is 70 then it might work.

I have rather big hands too,the 360 controller felt not so bad.My favourite would be the N64,it just felt...perfect.

My only complain with the Wiimote is,that the Nunchuck is too small. After a few hours,my fingers are cracking like dry wood in a chimney

My favorite control-scheme is the Keyboard and Mouse (god tier for playing FPS games), but that isn't really relevant to this discussion, so I'll just agree and say Wavebird.

Not really, you keep your right hand on the right side and depending on what you needed you use the middle or the left. I liked that controller too.

Don't really see how you need 3 hands. lol

Lol I SO missed it then.

My only complaint about the n64 controller is after a long time of game play the joystick would get lose and kinda hard to use. Which puts the Wii controller #1 for me.

This. Exactly this.

In terms of overall lineup, the SNES is my favourite (or Wii by extension, considering I can play almost all Nintendo console games on it)

I'd die to get my hands on a DS -- it just seems so versatile, and they keep coming out with games for it right and left. PS2 has my vote, though, it's really served me well over the years. It's the toughest game system since the SNES -- that thing could take a bomb under the casing and keep going. The one I was never crazy about was the N64. They didn't have a great handle on 3D yet, and they produced a lot of cringe-worthy games.

I'd say my PSOne is classic. It had Street Fighter Alpha 3 which had that bad@$$ World Tour mode, Xenogears which is my FAVE RPG of all time (still have my Xenogears Perfect Works Artbook, w00t w00t!), FF7 ~> 9 which even if their quality is questionable still brought the series to mainstream, SoulEdge/Blade which made 3D weapon based combat awesome & had its take on World Tour mode by giving you different weapons with different attributes, & just other various games/series like Suikoden, FF Tactics, Ridge Race, Twisted Metal, & Mega Man X4 (mah fave!). After PSOne, would probably be original NES because of all the Nintendo flagship titles (Metroid, Marios, Zeldas, Punch Out!, Kirby's Adventure), & then Ninja Gaiden, Contra, & Bad Dudes. Razz

So I love my DS, it's really good. Plenty of games, and one time I dropped it onto concrete from 5 feet up while I was playing and it didn't crash. PSP, on the other hand, few excellent games, I drop it one centimeter onto my desk and it crashes, and sometimes, it just crashes for no reason.

I think that the 360 would be more popular than the Wii if it didn't have so many hardware faults and errors, you know the ones I mean.
