Still never got around to Earthbound. I'll put it on my list.

Can I bump this thread? If not, uh... sorry. <_<

I love the Mother series too, in any case. I think Mother 3 is by far my favourite, but EB is one of my favourite RPGs too. Mother 1, maybe not so much, but its a good game all the same.

I think I like the atmosphere of EB the most, but the plot and gameplay of M3 the most. The music is great in all three.

Lol ^

I like this series a lot as well, though I still haven't beaten any of them, and haven't played Mother 1.

Mother 3 is also my favorite, mostly because it's much more linear than 2 and so I'm never left wondering where to go or what to do. Haven't played these in a while, wonder if I'll ever beat them.

Earthbound, in turn, is much more linear than Mother.

Am I the only one questioning the mechanics behind a pokeball? How does a Gyarados fit into a ball that fits in a pocket? What happened to the laws of mass?

The ways of the pokeball have remained a subject of debate for years, only Oak knows its secrets.

my theory is that the "ball" actually does not hold the Pokemon but attempts to de-atomize(vaporize) the Pokemon in question and store the Pokemon's information in the Data bank and when somun the Pokemon it gathers atoms in the appropriate manor

A Kappa's Trail, a game from some of the creators of Mother 3 has actually been confirmed for North America's DSi Ware service. Especially since several Mother 3 characters make appearances in the game. Smile
