After seeing the animation for the Rexaura one, I think it beats Rexcalibur.

It's a matter of preference, really. Sparkly animation for both.

You need an action replay device to get Rexcalibur in PoR, yes? I really like the Bolganone tome animation as well. Just awesome. Out of the Critical Hits, I think the non lethatl Halberdier and Swordmaster criticals are teh coolest.

And NOTHING is more sexy than the Black Knight's attacks. Eclipse=Win.

Update to my playthrough:
I made it to the Final Part and have everything set up and my characters selected to begin the chapters, but I haven't had much time to get down to them.
The guys I selected are:
Ike*
Micaiah*
Sothe*
Sanaki*
Ena*
Kurth*
Soren
Mist
Boyd
Nephenee
Mia
Shinnon
Pelleas
Jill

Volke
Marcia
Reyson~
* = forced in.
underlined are new endgame charaters.
~ Pick one of three herons.

Nolan and Edward were WAY underleveled this round to even be considered. Keiran got screwed from the desert chapter and thus little expirience and Titania was replaced with Marcia because of flying mobility and more resistance for later final chapters. I love Volke. Fucking ASSASSIN! He comes at a high level, but doesn't have crappy stats for a high level, actually has great stats, and master skill.

I gave a bigger effort into raising Jill. She was hard to raise at times and needed some babying because of low strength and attak speed. Ocne she became a 3rd teir character, she fucking MOBS. She completely out classed Harr. Maybe growth rates were doing better for me with later level ups, but she beat Harr in just about every other stat except for HP, Strength, and Defense, but not by much and she is a couple levels lower.

The RD story is pretty lame too Gorblax...

@smashbro: Your final team has my utmost approval. I'm glad you managed to level up Jill, despite the effort. That girl is a monster. Awesome work with Pelleas as well.

Next time I do a run through, I'm gonna focus more on Micaiah's team, especially Nolan, Edward, and Aran. Aran has always ended up pretty beastly on my files, just underleveled compared to Ike's team.

Seth is The Badass, though. If only he weren't a black hole for experience. Also, I hate the Supports system.

Thanks, Eiron. I had to bring in Pelleas. I love having a dark magic user. And RD has a better story than Sacred Stones. The best stories are FE7 and PoR.

Seth is a Jeigan charater. Honestly, I would stop using him, but that's just me. Yeah he's good in the begining, but if you level up other characters, they will surely outclass him. Personally, I have a thing where I don't use any pre-promote characters, aside from a few. However, if you're doing a hard-mode run, the pre-promotes are better suited for lack of babying. At least, that's what care FE players say. In all fairness and teir wise, though I hate teirs sometimes, Seth ranks high due to his play time and stats upon arrival and how useful he is, but give the effort to others, and they will be better engame characters. Also, the endgame chapter is easy... so it doesn't matter who you use, I suppose. Just don't use Seth much in begining chapters and use him to weaken guys for others to gain expirience.

No Gorblax, you get.....THE BIG GAY DANCE!

Titania has the same function in PoR. Most people quickly elect to use her as a meat shield.

Yeah, just showed a friend the established "tiers" in Stones. She went ballistic. Apparently, not universally agreed upon.

They're not. Ewan turns out as a kickass character and one of the most powerful, however, he is ranked low on tiers due to a late join time, he's a level 1 trainee character, and is hard to train without any use of the tower. Also, tier characters don't include the tower or any outside training.

Tiers suck. Ewan rules. Plus, he can wield dark magic should you make him a shaman.

Ewan is the best shaman in the game, period. I usually make him a summoner, though, since Knoll sucks ass.

You heard it here first: Knoll Sucks Ass.

"So, Knoll, do you have anything to say on your purported ass-sucking?" "Why, is there an ass here? You gotta let me know if there is, man. I leave no ass unsucked. Hey, you've got an ass, don't you?" "Um... just got mine removed, actually." "Oh. Damn. Well, let me know if you see one around here." "You'll... be the first person I tell."

Even Knoll knows he's bad.

Dude... why a summoner, there's no point in summoning those guys anyway. Druid all the way. He gets anima with it.

Haven't bothered to play it. Isn't that the Play Station series created by one of the main creaters of Fire Emblem?

If its what I'm thinking of, Nintendo actually sued them for copyright infringment on Fire Emblem.

Yep. Enterbrain had to pay 76 million yen to Nintendo, although it was not declared a breach of copyright, so it remained in stores. Funnily (funnily?) enough, the game was originally called Emblem Saga.
