So... the scarf's just sitting there... at just over half done... I seem to have lost some steam on that.

But I am also getting into other aspects of costuming, Sewing! At the moment I'm going to be working on the vest he wore, then move on to the Frock coat.

No word on the Tardis or Dalek yet, but I'll get to it eventually...

Aha! YES! Got them to take my money!

Now I can download Doctor Who audio. I figure I'll spend a couple thousand dollars on that until the new season starts.

...Money Well Spent.

Well, I suppose it's pretty obvious what I must do.

...become British! Because let's face it, nobody (including me) really wants an american Doctor.

I wouldn't dream of Stepping on Barrowman's toes.

I WOULD however totally be the next American Companion. And I'd have a better accent than Peri.

So, here's that Tardis USB hub I got. It makes a sound when you press in the sign.

Also... Peter Davison is coming to Louisville! I get to meet the 5th Doctor!

...Well, if I go to the con and am lucky enough to catch him at a panel or doing autographs.

So I just bit the bullet and watched Dimensions in Time on youtube.

It's the largest gathering of Doctors and Companions ever put to film (Barely beating out the Five Doctors I think)

...And the whole thing's a jumbled rushed mess. It's the worst Doctor Who thing I've ever seen. It looks like they might start a plot, but then it sort of meanders away. something about a "Time Toungue"? Not even kidding, Time Toungue.

It's... BAD. Impressively bad. They couldn't have made less sense. Really. Watch it, even if you're not a fan of the show, because I garuntee as long as you know that the men are the Doctor and the women are companions (Except for the Rani) you'll make exactly as much sense of it that I did.

You know how Trekies have Klingon and Tolkien fans have Elven or Orcish languages?

Well, I'm going to figure out the language of the time lords. I bought a few of the books and it seems they have SOME sort of system, When they number the chapters they have a hexagon with some symbols inside it, probably to represent the chapter number. Similar sumbols also appear on the spine. For now It's only the numbers, but I also want to figure out letters as well.

You hear me Moffet? I want a full language!

...Of course, since it's Doctor Who the Tardis translates any spoken word, so we'll just have to deal with written text (Noted examples are "The Time of Angels" and "A good man goes to war", but I expect the angels one was short hand considering how simple it looked in comparison to the name on the crib)

Personally my favorite doctor is David Tennant because he's a frigging god and anyone who begs to differ will taste his timey wimey wrath.I also rather like Matt Smith too tho.

A Doctor Who thread.

I love this place.

Anyways, I'm a bit underinformed when it comes to picking my "favorite Doctor" because I've only extensively watched four: Hartnell and the three new kids. David Tennant wins my vote (I know, big surpise. Sig doesn't give it away at all) over Hartnell by a very small margin, but there are so many stories I just love of which Tennant was at the center.

Hrm... I'm torn. On the one hand the plush is made really well and I love both ponies and Doctor Who.

On the other hand, the colors on the scarf are all wrong Razz

Who else is reading the Dr Who / Star Trek TNG crossover comic? Apearently the fourth doctor and the TOS guys are going to be in the next issue. Also the Cybermen and Borg are working together.
