Marvel vs. Capcom 3: FFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFFF YEAH!

pretty damn sweet. Doubt it'll be released for PC or Wii though sad avalanche

Right now, it's only confirmed for 360, but I think we can expect it on PS3. (And it's Disc-based, not download.)

But yeah, don't expect it on Wii (unless they use the same engine they used for Tatsunoko vs. Capcom, then there is a chance.)
And for what I now, it DOES look like Tatsunoko vs. Capcom.

It does look like Tatsunoko vs Capcom....with Chris Redfield Looks pretty happenin, CAN WE GET DANTE NOW?!?! PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE?!?!?!

Oh god yes. I can not wait to get down on some Marvel vs. Capcom. It has been too long.

Heh, I was talking this over with some friends (already ) & a couple more issues....

1) I think my rage over the 'Lack of DMC Representation' will prevent me from buying this game unless Dante's in it. Honestly the guy's not exactly a small franchise for Capcom, dude's huge! Not only that, his first game was the creation of Resident Evil creator Shinji Mikami & his gamestyle influenced Ninja Gaiden & God of War! He recreated the standards, c'mon now, that deserves some credit....& let me clarify, when I say Dante, I mean, Dante. Not Nero, not Lucia, not Vergil (unless he's with Dante ), Dante first. Then you can put others in there ;P

2) On a 360 webpage that also has this video up, he reported that Capcom is saying the roster of characters will be huge since its now on HD systems & they have massive amounts of disc space. Sooooo, can we go grab those Phoenix Wright & Franziska von Karma sprites/builds & port them over to this one plz? Kthx. No seriously, this guy deserves it too considering its now on game 5 of the series & he's been a hit on both sides of the pond. That, & if your issue was last time around he was 'unbalanced' I highly doubt that's an issue in Marvel vs 'Cable/Magneto/Psylocke/CaptainCommando/StormAndNowIronManintheHomePorts' Capcom.....

3) Frank Castle. The Punisher. Please? Deadpool's cool & all, I can accept that, but.....Punisher? Awzm.

I don't really think Dante needs to be in this game. More power to you though if he makes it in, given all of the room for characters, this doesn't seem unlikely. Personally, I'm more curious to see what they will put in on the Marvel side of things.

*cracks knuckles* So, I come tonight bringing news on how the video game retailers are reacting to this bit of news ;P This is from the correspondence our black hole vacuum of a company sent down onto us:

1) The graphics engine will be run on the current tech that did Tatsunoko vs Capcom & Resident Evil 5.
2) The music will be redone & all new, so gone will be the days of 'Gonna Take You For a Ride'
3) So far confirmed are Ryu, Chun Li, Bison, Morrigan (she's the succubus Falco, from Darkstalkers ), Chris Redfield, Wolverine, Hulk, Iron Man, Captain America, Magneto, Storm, Spiderman, yes Deadpool, & Dr. Doom.
4) The multiplayer will rip heavily from Super Street Fighter IV (which comes out on Tuesday~) so you can expect lobbies, Team Modes, mixed challenges like 1 vs 2/3/4/5/6/7 fights, if you're cocky like that ;P, & Spectator mode
5) Story Mode will be a huge focus this time around unlike other times when either there was none, or it was redundant
6) Story is so important the end boss will be a huge cheesecake to Marvel fans

This all came from a district manager who I used to work with, so I know his info's good for it. Other than that, just read an article ripped from Kotaku that said, /CaptainFalcon G'YES!!!! Dante's in it. SHIT JUST GOT REAL SON!

lets see.....Spiderman will obviously be playable, probably along with Venom, and I bet they throw in Cyclops, Jean and Gambit as well for Marvel. As for the Capcom side, I bet they'll take out Frank West, Viewtiful Joe, Megaman and perhaps Dante.

what I really hope is that they throw in Amaterasu.

Its a hybrid of RE5 & Tatsunoko vs Capcom, so a lot of the same mechanics from MvC2/TvC will be brought back (Hyper Combos, Tag Team Combos, SnapBacks, Guard Push) with a dark look ala RE5; even with the game pushed until next year, we still got 2 reserves today & next week we'll be hosting a midnight on Super Street Fighter IV so we're throwing a tourney, hopefully with gift cards
