TWBB Mafia Game 6: Deceptions-FINALE-Revelations

The night was dark, its ominous shroud hanging over the populace of the There Will Be Brawl Forums like a specter. The deaths, the disappearances… This was not the work of mere trolls. A mob had formed. The interwebz were not safe anymore. Shit got real. Fear had been planted amidst the forumers, and entropy dominated the boards. As confusion mounted, many took advantage of the chaos, gazing from the shadows with avarice and lulz upon the lemmings that lay before them. Not even the moderators would be able to easily rein in the destruction that was to come. Action had to be taken. Would the hapless multitude be able to unite and drive out the perpetrators of disaster, or would they succumb to the lies and deceit of those for whom they were simply pawns? The gods had abandoned them. Who would take their place?

Welcome to Mafia Game 6-Deceptions. I will be serving as your narrator and moderator for this game. Most of you are veteran players, but in case some of the newer players haven’t read the basic rules I’d suggest visiting the tutorial, reposted here for your convenience. While my game is far from basic this should serve as a quick catcher-up for anyone who needs it.

With that out of the way, here are some key regulations that must be addressed.

• PMs are PROHIBITED this game!
• Roleclaiming is still legal but must be done at one’s own discretion: Requesting roleclaims from others is against the rules. Attempting a massclaim may get you modkilled.
• As with last game, screenshots are tantamount to cheating.
• Inactivity rules are as follows: If other forumers express interest in the mafia game while it is running, they will be added to a list of substitutes. If someone is inactive for two dayphases they will be warned; a third will result in their ejection from the game. If any substitutes are available, they will be able to take the place of the player who was ejected. If not, the player will be modkilled.
• One unique and important rule this game: The dead cannot communicate, even amongst themselves. This is necessary for game balance purposes.
• Days will generally last around 48 hours. The normal phase shift time is 7 PM EST (that’s in the morning in Australia and at night in Europe, so it should be relatively convenient for most of you), but I’ll provide a countdown in number of hours remaining whenever I log on, and I’ll indicate if the ending time is different.
• Nights will also last about 48 hours, but will end early if everyone gets their actions in. As with the dayphase, if you don’t make the deadline at night your night action will not be preformed.
• Since I am again using a forum theme, Game 6 will follow Raya’s format of using player names in normal case and role names in bold for role reveals and narration.

Thanked you the first time I tried to quote, whatever that does, but yeah, you did help to write the rules in a sense .

As for the confirmation, I left both you and yuke5 as listed players on purpose. You because I knew you'd be playing regardless of whether yuke5 shows up and yuke5 because I always have the modkill rule.

lets see....game 6.....chances of rolling a innocent role is 80% at most........is 0.8....taken in account that SC and Ansem played all games from the beginning is 0.8x0.8^6=....just a +- 17% chance those guys are still innocent, mathematics, just throwing it out there. that, and I havent done math for a year, so I might be a tad rusty

The no pm rule will make it difficult to form a alliance.....I am happy with the rule against mass roleclaim though, it takes away the fun of hunting down mafians....unless you're in the position of taking those roleclaims I assume.

The dead not being allowed to communicate rule makes me wonder....is this to counter rl contacts like Minby and TD, or did the role I suggested to Raya last game somehow made it in this game?
