So no season 2? :(

i just watched all 10 episode (minus episode 3 as it didnt work anywhere on any computer i tried) and it was one of the best live action web-series's i've ever seen, i was just wondering if there will ever be a season 2? i mean, it ended with sort of a cliffhanger

Sorry, but the creators already said they're done with the series. There will be one more Lakitu news segment, but that's it.

The end of TWBB, as I see it, wasn't really intended to be a cliffhanger. What happened in Miyamoto's office is left to the imagination of the viewer, but I don't think it was a setup for an additional season. It sort of seems like it is paying homage to the end of The Silence of the Lambs, from which TWBB draws heavy influence. Believe me, we all wish there was more on the way, but the end pretty much wrapped things up.

Setting aside the creators'/cast's/crew's interest or lack thereof, I'm a little surprised whenever people suggest there needs to be a second season. I thought the series was very self-contained and summed up nicely.

You could always watch it again A friend and I did a three hour marathon of all episodes, it was pretty baller.

It was a great series, with a nice conclusion. I watched the entire series in a night. Thanks to SnakeInABox. I wouldn't say no to a second season, but I'm not left unsatisfied. I will never look at Brawl the same. For the better.

I loved it, but I don't see a point to a second season. Although some of it was left a bit up in the air, I thought it was a pretty good conclusion. There wasn't a need to add anything more to it, it was fine the way it was imo.

Yeah, it was intended to be a self-contained story arc with a definite beginning, and a definite end. I'm still amazed it ended clocking at 3.5 hours (FAR more than our original intent), but I'm happy with the amount of "openness" in the ending. Leaves you room to conjecture on the future of the Mushroom Kingdom and its remaining inhabitants. If they will take the lessons learned from these horrible events and build a brighter future, or will it be doomed to repeat them?

While there is no sequel planned, there IS some discussion of a possible TWBB-related project. I can't say anything, but there is a possibility that this isn't the last you've seen of our dark world of Nintendo.

Well, from the mouth of the gods. Or, fingertips, same premise. It's nice to know that there's still a chance of seeing more stuff related to TWBB though.
