ok so debate here which is more difficult to learn. English or other languages? we can also talk about the differences between each language and maybe learn some from each other oui?

I'd bet Chinese is harder to learn.

Russian is annoying because you need to learn it's Crylic Alphabet, but once you get past that (and the fact that there are letters just to soften or harden a letter, and a letter for the sound "shch") it's not to bad. It's pretty standardized, with every letter making one "AND PRECISELY ONE" sound, and all the rules have very few exceptions.

Where English gets points is with it's verbs. Learn one for present tense, add an 's' for singular third person, and then learn another form of the word for past tense. Doesn't work in every case though, but no case of having 5 different conjugations for every tense like Spanish (Though once you get the patterns for that, it's not hard, just takes thought).

Oh come on, English has two.

Granted though kanji is insane. Pictorally it makes sense, but a symbol for every word is incredibly complicated...

...no?

Many people say English is difficult because of all the different tenses and verb endings and grammatical rules. I suppose the basics would be easy to grasp but perfection would be more difficult, as with all languages.

I have read something about that in a newspaper: some scientists declared, that Slovakian is the hardest language to learn,if you don't know a related language.I think Mandarin was second,German on the 8th place.

English isn't hard to learn,it's a rather simple language(no offense). You don't have to care that much about genders, cases or articles.People learning German have the most problems with fitting the right article to the right noun.

Paplimento is said to be the easiest to learn, spoken in Curacao I believe. Its a mixture between Dutch, English, and French or something, and it only has 1 tense.

Example:

I is
You is
We is

or something like that.

Then everyone should stop teaching other languages and learn it.

Ok, not that drastically, but if we can actually create a global language, tell me that wouldn't help international relations. Of course there are downsides, but the sooner you start, the sooner it's perfected.

And that would pretty much kill out the culture of everywhere in terms of language. Not good at all.

Then Spanish is hell to learn, and I don't find it that hard.
