Mugen: A 2d Fighter

Mugen is meant to be a Completely customizable 2d fighter

Some notable Characters Are
- Peter Griffen and Homer Simpson
- Ella-A Comedic version of the girl from the ring
-Obvious Ryu, Sakura and Everyother character from any Fighting game
-Your everyday Brazillian Goku SSJ69,000

heres a list
SOme people are even trying to hire others to do some coding
And Examples: 12345

The Game is Just Evolving Further and further
JMugen seeks to implement 3d aspects similar to Brawl and SF-IV
You've seen the Zooming in and Out, and the platforming
Everyone Sees Netplay as a necessity....

All in all, I see Mugen as potential to be somehting incredible.
If You've never seen it before, I suggest you look at videos

BUT DONT DOWNLOAD
Unless you are willing to take the risk of Virus's and TONS of space being used up for warehousing all the characters you're going to want to have

Hahaha. Dude, that's not spanish. ^^
That is Brazilian portuguese. The voices used are that of Goku's Brazilian voice actor, Wendell Bezerra. ^^

I've seen this on Youtube a few times, now that you mentioned it. I won't lie, it looked really funny watching matches with Peter Griffin in them. The Peter Griffin vs. Homer Simpson was the best, haha.


I'm really not a fan of traditional fighting games like Mortal Combat and Street Fighter though. Having to remember all of the button combinations for all the moves is something I don't care to do. Only fighting style games I actually like, are the SSB series and the Power Stone series. Both aren't traditional and are very fun.

So True...
Thats one of the things I like about ssb also...
Nothing complex...
THe only Combos are ones that you make, not ones that were created by the game...

And the way that you flew back was only bonus because I never was a fan of games where you could get combo'd from start to end without having an oppertunity to fight back.

Right now I'm looking to a character that actually doesn't use any complex things

And hopefully they'll eventually create a game mode that allows replacement of The life bar with a % meter, make blowback increase and set boundries for ringouts

This game could very well be a SSB engine vs a 2d fighter engine....

his game is one of the many reasons I want to learn computer programming...

Nah, its not dead... Just dispursed....
Also, because fighter factory can be difficult to work with (and no one is an expert artist), Very few new characters have been created that people want to download....

I want to change that...
But have no power to...
So I just wait... and Figure out ways to make things that I can motivate myself to do and hope for the best....

Personally I wanted to know what you guys wanted for it.
The Engine is pretty much entirely modable, making it a prime engine for Mind Expanding 2d games

These are a few things I thought up
-Budokai Styled Dodge System Where You can press a certian button to Make yourself "Out of Layer" and any attacks your Opponent would do would also be out of layer. (It sounds so much like streets of rage that it doesn't seem worth it to try and continue explaining it)

-Smash System
--Changes life Bar to a growing % meter
--Create Ring out Limits
--Enable Blowback to increase for % meter

Not that any of these things will come to fruition.... But.... at least a man/person/(being with imagination) can dream...
