TWBB Mafia Game 11: The Last Thread Day 5: Retribution

It was a dark day on the forum. As the amount of new members had dwindled, and finally disappeared, the remaining posters went about their daily tasks, posting, commenting, joking. But all was not as well as it seemed. Beneath the exterior of a small, but happy community lurked an evil. An evil so deep that it would destroy them all from the inside- nobody knew it was there. Nobody knew what could have happened. But one morning, the forumers logged on to find all the topics locked, their community ground to a halt overnight. All that remained was a single thread, unlocked. Naturally, people posted in it to try and figure out what was going on. First the moderators were accused, then the Admins. But both groups tried to no avail to release the stranglehold that someone had put the forum into. Then people realized just what they were dealing with. Smashbro cried out- "Look at the topic! It's a mafia game!" Naturally, the rest of the forumers made the connection, and they were shocked. Someone had done this unspeakable evil to the forum, and had turned it into a game to try and find them. Never had they encountered such mindgames- at least, not since Episode 10. Thus, the players took their places, the roles were assumed, and the fight for the forum began.

Welcome my fellow posters, to The Last Thread.
The game is mafia- the rules are simple.
The TD260 Inactivity Clause: If you post less than 3 times in a day phase, you will be issued a warning. After that, A replacement will be found, or you will be terminated. Remember, Day phases last anywhere from 48 hours to 72 hours. Plenty of time to post. Same number during a night phase, for those of you who can post during that time.

Snakeinabox rule will not be in effect, you have the full night phase to send me your actions. However, Actions will be used in the order I receive them, unless the ability takes prescience.

There will be NO PMs unless an ability states otherwise.

I apologize for the hypocritical rule, but necroposting is not allowed at all.

tied lynches will extend the day phase until the tie is broken.

Roleclaiming outright is not allowed, and neither is revealing the forumer name of your role. I have no faults with softclaiming, but that's as far as I'll go. This obviously means no screencaps.

Ouch. Three posts per dayphase minimum feels pretty steep; there's some days when there's just not much worth saying. I suppose I'll see how it goes, first.

Anyway, as usual, I advocate a day-one lynch, but I'll wait until near the end of the day to vote. Grudge votes have always annoyed me, and seem as bad of a reason to vote for someone as a coin flip is. I recognize that they're generally not serious, but there may be something underneath nonetheless.

Well shit. I go to bed for a nap, sleep for like five hours and wake up to a forum in chaos. Just my luck. And yeah, I don't really like the three posts per day rule either, but it will certainly help prevent situations such as the ones that arose last game.

I do agree with Snake though, and follow my usual stance. A Day 1 lynch is only viable with a solid lead. Dat borange, I'll ignore it at least for now. If he's a Fobby role, that's a pretty terrible restriction to have to deal with.
