I'm gonna be here for a longtime, joys of actually looking for something serious! Q, forget the psycho that's far more bitchy then what Mandy did to me!

My ex is having her clearly amazing person of a boyfriend over the next several nights. Apparently he wants to try to start something. I'm not gonna try myself, but seriously? Pathetic.

Screw that, I wouldn't even give him a chance. Stay away, in my opinion. He's just pouring salt into the wound at this point. You don't owe him a thing.

Or how about I don't let his current location/agenda dictate how I live my life? I don't intend to run into him, or to start something, but I'm not gonna be like "oh shit Jesse's around, I'd better run the other way D:" No, I'm gonna go about my daily business as usual, thank you very much. The salt has been poured into the wound over and over, at this point there's really not much he could do to make me feel worse in any way. So I'm not really concerned with that.

That's kinda what I meant. I mean, if you happen to cross their path just ignore them, not immediately run off or whatever.

Here's what you do, you walk up to him, nail him with your right hand and walk off into the sunset.

In my opinion as a manipulative bitch, do what you suggested, go about your day ignore him. If he's trying to start something it's a blatant attempt to look like a Big Man and pretend his penis is twice the size. So, metaphorically cockblock him. No matter what he does or says just brush it off and ignore him, with perhaps the occasional cutting remark if he persists. It's guaranteed to drive him up the wall. As an added bonus, if he starts getting aggressive, make sure there's witnesses. Don't retaliate, and if he physically starts something he gets expelled/arrested. Yours hands are clean, his life gets ruined, job done.

Not that I'd ever advocate something like that Razz But yeah, don't rise to the bait, he just wants to boost up his ego by pretending he's an alpha, so don't give him the satisfaction.

Or my personal favourite, be nice to him, trip him completely out. The nicer you are to him, the more likely he'll leave you alone.

That'd be my tactic. Seeing the girl you two were fighting over turned out to be a real bitch, try to just be awesome like you are and smile while you reach out your hand to him.
Smiling always helps.

So does this mean I'm out of the Lonely Hearts Club? Well, in her words "we're not a couple just because we made out", but it's certainly a step in the right direction.
Well apparently the whole thing meant more to me than it did to her. She said that she's not really interested and was just feeling lonely at the time. She proceeded to give me the standard "I'm sure you'll find someone"-speech that I've heard so many times before.

Jumped in, jumped out, jumped in, jumped out, surprisingly I'm actually out of the club now. Have been for a month. I'm as surprised as you all no doubt are.

Let's see how much longer this one lasts.

seriously true. didn't have a single one till my freshman year of college....that was a disaster but hindsight is 20/20. you'll be meeting a crapton more people once you start college and you'll meet more than one person who'd like to date you i can assure you. and once you've dated one person it gets easier to find another if it goes south, weirdly enough.

lol, don't expect it to happen all by itself though. While you meet more people, which is true, it doesn't have to mean they're all socially awesome and will step up to you.
That's something you're better off learning how to do yourself, otherwise you're just waiting again.
