]Syntax Error[ Brawl Texture Hacks

So there are some guys who are undertaking an awesome project to create two texture hacks, which are like alternate costumes expect way more awesome, for every character in Brawl (except for Mr G&W who's texture is just one repeating pixel so all you could do is change what colour he is and Kirby who gets one hacks for each of his hats, but no hacks on his normal costumes) and releasing them to the public so you can play Brawl with these costumes. You can find what has been revealed of the roster here

But I have another reason for showing making this thread other than sharing it with the forums. On Saturday they will Brawl with another texture hacking team Stack Smash and one of their Brawls they will use the textures voted for by the fans. Now, Stack Smash has a Maojra texture for Meta Knight and Syntax Error has a Fierce Deity texture for Link, which means there could be an epic Majora vs Fierce Deity brawl. The problem is Fierce Deity is losing to a mystery Snake texture in the poll since people are curious about him.

So if you are interested in seeing such and epic Brawl take place come here and vote for Meta Majora and Fierce Deity in the poll.

And if you aren't, do it anyway

I saw some guys on SWF testing this out, but they sucked pretty hard at it. This looks promising. OH WAIT, SWF did have the Darth Vader skin for Meta Knight...

The funniest one for me by far is the wolf vegeta costume.

Well you need the homebrew channel but you can't get that with the most recent firmware but there is a way to downgrade. What else you need:

Zelda: Twilight Princess (to run the twilight hack)
SD Card
SD Card Reader
DVD Burner
And I think that's it.

Also just so you know these don't become new costumes but replace already existing ones, usually taking the most logical spot eg. if the hack is mainly red it will take the red team costume slot

I don't know, they said they'd post a tutorial for it when the project is released (December 20) Luckily for me I still have old firmware due to not wanting to lose my freeloader compatibility.

Sorry for the double post but smashbro what number is the newest firmware, you may still be able to get the homebrew channel without downgrading now.
