The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time 3D details – Sheikah Stones and more

- Dan Owsen one of the main members of the game’s localization team
- Three colors paths have been added to the Water Temple
- These paths line the walls of the temple, leading to one of the locations where Link can raise/lower the water level
- Some key doors are emphasised with a colorful border surrounding them
- After you defeat a boss, you can “relive its memory”
- Sleep in Link’s bed in Kokiri Forest to do this
- Boss battles will be timed, but play the same
- No online leaderboards
- Unlock Boss Rush mode by unlocking and defeating every boss again
- Fight through every boss, one after another
- Will be provided a power-up at the end of each fight, such as Deku Nuts or hearts
- Nintendo won’t say if there will be more rewards for those who complete Boss Rush mode
- Master Quest has now been mirrored
- In Master Quest, Link will hit with twice the damage from enemies
- Sheikah Stones can be found throughout the world
- The stones are like the Gossip Stones from the original game
- Crawl inside the Sheikah Stones to receive “visions” of the future
- Visions are pre-recorded snippets of footage
- 3-5 short clips that show what to do next
- Unlock the visions as you reach certain points in the game
- Visions may show you where to find heart pieces

The Sheikah stones sound really interesting, and of course the game looks amazing, but why oh why did it have to come out in June... Oh well, one month and one week. I can wait that much longer...

Seriously, my 3DS is being neglected. I swear as soon as this comes out I'll have to play it 3 times over. Once for regular, once for Master Quest, and once again on regular to make it seem easy after master quest.

SO! What we know so far about the game:

- Items will be upgradeable.
- Shields can break. (There is a Shield Meter.)
- The demo had 3 different shield (wood, iron and Hylian.)
- Link can dash/run, climb on vines and blocks faster, jump forward (only when in Z-Targeting.)
- Each of those actions drains stamina.
- The villain is DEMON LORD GHIRAHIM. It's not Vaati, DRTJR. It was hinted that he is not the only villain in the game. He is from a tribe, so we may see more of those guys. Or... it's Ganondorf. Nothing specific.
- The first boss fight of the game is against him. (The Sky Temple, the dungeon in the E3 Demo, is the first dungeon of the game.)
- Ghirahim is able to stop Link's Sword between his fingers, steal it from him and use it against Link.
- Zelda and Link are both from Skyloft.
- Their relationship is closer than in any other games yet.
- At the beginning of the game, Link participates in a race to win a date with Zelda.
- During the date, a tornado appears (created by Ghirahim) and sucks up Link and Zelda. Zelda is taken away by a giant whale and Link is saved by Phi, the Spirit of the Skyward Sword.
- Phi speaks in a emotionless, robotic manner.
- She is voiced in the same manner Midna was in Twilight Princess.
- She can detect items to upgrade your equipment and some sort of special key.
- When using the Skyward Sword to find items (think Metal Detector), Link goes into a first-person view.
- Skyloft is some kind of HUB-world. Travelling above the could is done on birds. The sea of clouds work in the same way the ocean does in Wind Waker.
- There are smaller island floating above the clouds Link can visit.
- Link can drop at any time from his bird below to visit The Surface (no mention of Hyrule at all, maybe it isn't even named that yet). He needs to find Bird Statues to go back above the ground and save the game. (It seems you cannot save anytime you want in Skyward Sword).
- Most of the music in the game will be orchestrated.
- It's possible that you may not complete a dungeon the first time you visit it. Skyward Sword will have a more "Metroid-like" kind of exploration in the sense that you may need to return to some dungeons later in the game after you acquire more equipment/upgrade an older weapon to go deeper into the dungeon.
- The Surface/Hyrule is described as one big dungeon with more dungeons in it. There is also dungeons within dungeons, see point above. (INCEPTION!)
- Link will sometime have to go into the Siren World.
- The Siren World is a dimension within The Surface.
- When entering the Siren World, the scenery takes a blue/green tint.
- Since Link needs to stab the ground with the Skyward Sword at specific locations to enter the Siren World, Link will be swordless during those sequences.
- During the Siren World sequences, Link needs to find what looks like Tears of Light similar to those of Twilight Princess.
- Guardians roams in the Siren World, against which Link cannot defend himself.
- One hit from the Guardians will kill Link.
- Link can find orbs to stop the Guardians.
- Each time Link picks up an orb, the Guardians will freeze up for a few moment.

I think that's pretty much it.

You just proved his point but that's not the reason I'm posting If he is the First Boss I doubt he's the Main villain giving Credence to the Kabul of Evil wizards(Which would FUCKING ROCK) theory. Also Calling it now He's a Sheikah.

Ghirahim says during the demo that he is the one ruling The Surface/Hyrule. He's probably of the same status as Zant. Only this time we can only hope he's not gonna get the boot by Ganondorf like Zant did in Twilight Princess. There may be others like him, but I'm pretty sure Ghirahim is the leader. And the fact that you fight him once early into the game is pretty damn awesome.

Being the first boss doesn't mean he's not the main villain.
