Extra stuff would be filmed simultaneously, probably. The last episode really ought to be the final word on the matter as far as I can see it at the moment. I'd hate to take away from the huge epic finish by releasing, like, a "Pokemon in Funny Hats" segment a week later or whatever.

I love the idea of extra/side episodes. The Lakitu one was great and the others could be good "fillers" between episodes as long as they don't spoil anything.
