Yeah, the horse sized duck is terrifying.

I mean, the bill would be big enough to just squash your head. AND we don't know the rules about physics. Imagine if it could still fly, it'd dive bomb you and you have no defense.

But I'm fairly certain I could take on a couple of duck sized horses. Worse case scenario I can stand on a chair or something.

The horses would swarm you, so I'll take the giant duck. Still has a lot of downsides, but it is at least just one problem.

Of course you go for the single enemy, you can keep your eye on one guy. But you can't know where all the other guys are. Which means they can attack your blind spot easily.

I'd go with duck sized horses. The only danger in horses is that they can trample you and kick like a motherfucker. Make them about ankle height and all danger is gone. They'd be even less threatening than rabbits

Horses aren't really powerful without their size, and they are too dumb to work together. Gonna go with duck-sized horses.

Horse-sized duck, not even a question. Horses are known for having those really strong legs, bbut the duck's a bird, frail as all hell, just deliver a few blows and grab some rocks when it starts to take flight

Duck sized horses because NOPE HATOFUL BOYFRIEND HAS TOLD ME TO BE WARY OF BIRDS

also geese geese are freaky as hell

duck sized horses would be annoying at worst, you might get a couple of bruises but it wouldn't be so bad.

If the miniature horses manage to break one of your ankles, have fun being knocked down and trampled to death.

I'd go for the duck.

Birds are only big because of their feathers, underneath is hollow bones and a frail skeleton. One good punch and you'd shatter it. Weapon-wise, although it can jab you with its beak and scratch with claws, the duck's main weapon will be battering you with its wings, but snap those arm bones and it can't do much. The duck has to rely on intimidation and buffeting with its wings, so avoid that and it's defenseless. And if the worst comes to the worst, it's too big to fly, so you can make a run for it.

Horses on the otherhand can bite, stomp and kick. If you end up on the ground you're screwed, swarmed by tiny pummeling machines. Sure, one good kick on your part would kill one outright, but to do that you have to stand on one leg, and if you lose your balance...Not to mention the fact they can easily swarm you or trip you up by getting underfoot.

So yeah, horse-sized duck for me.

I'm guessing most of you picking the duck to fight hasn't actually been attacked by a duck. You can tell yourself all you want that their bones are hollow and horses kick hard, but here's the thing.

A duck attacking you WITHOUT being 300 pounds is terrifying.

A duck will f#&* you up.

Yeah, I've definitely got to say that I'd take on the horses. Ducks are assholes. A giant duck, while not terrifying to me, is definitely not something I'd want to face. When you amplify the size, the bones of the duck would have to grow thicker to support the added weight. That means those bones you're talking about easily breaking wouldn't break as easily as you'd planned. However, shrinking the horse weakens it considerably. It's kicks don't deal as much damage, it's bites are negligible as well. It becomes less than threatening, even in a group. A good stick would be all you'd need and the horses would be completely dealt with.

Ducks aren't assholes. At least not the ones I'm familiar with. Now geese. Geese are assholes.

I'd take on the horse sized duck.

Why exactly would a duck be 300lbs? It's nothing but feathers and twig-bones. It's probably not going to weigh much more than an average human.

So the duck remains it's structure, just sized up to a horse?... Well, I'd choose the duck then. The thing would collapse on itself.

Since it's been an absolute scorcher today at 26C and I've been struggling with the heat...

What temperature range do you function best in? What's your ideal temperature?

I'm happiest between -5C and 23C, with about 19C being the most comfortable. Warm enough for tshirts but not too hot to function.

anywhere from 50F and 80F. More than that and it's too hot, less than that and it's starting to get uncomfortably cold.

70 - 80 is perfect for me. 80+ is still ideal is there's a breeze. I can't deal with it getting cold.

Fahrenheit is such a nonsensical unit for temperature, I don't even know what you're talking about Razz

20°-25°C is fine by me, not taking humidity into account.
