The flashbacks were a great way to deepen the characters. And it was nice to see the episode being centered around Mario, but unfortunately Luigi's appearances were pretty brief.

Yay for returning characters from episode 4.
The Olimar cult scene was just damn twisted and amazing. Clever way to shoehorn in Master Hand and Crazy Hand. Also, holy crap, ROB is alive.
Disappointed for no Bowser, again. I'm a bit worried if he'll ever make an appearance. I mean, he could be dead by now. I certainly hope not.
And no, Kirby is not dead. It would be a boring death for an incredible character. That corpse is Meta Knight...sadly.

It was really nice to see Fox and Falco again. I knew those guys would be returning to the forefront somehow, and it was refreshing to see that make-up again.

And I'm really hoping that Kirby's really dead. Or, where'd anybody get the fireflower from, anyway?

So, Meta Knight is totally dead, and, in case you're wondering, Wario probably did him in. Or at least roasted the body. Not to mention he was snooping around with the evidence, and the Ice Climbers were hanging out by Mario's apartment. In all likelihood, they dropped of Yoshi's corpse.
So, it naturally follows that Wario's in with the butcher or Kirby, or as things are starting to look, both. It should also be noted that Yoshi went missing after staring down the Ice Climbers. BOWSER HAD BETTER NOT BE FUCKING DEAD, but if he is, then Ganon's set up rather nicely for a power grab. I'm still not sure who the butcher is, since neither Meta Knight, Samus, or Olimar could have killed Yoshi. (MK being dead, Samus being off with Luigi, and Olimar being in the slums. There's some wiggle room there, but not much.)

I lol'd at the white pikmin in the punch. You sick bastards.

Mario broke a record for the number of grills he got into in one episode. I loved watching the differences in how he and Luigi handled things, particularly with Fox and Olimar. Luigi getting led off into all sorts of trouble, and Mario interrupting people by punching them in the face. Classic.

And we finally got our Master/Crazy Hand reference. YUS.

It's MetaKnights burnt corpse, because they're going on too often that Kirby's dead plus if you saw Silence of the Lambs you'd understand. Since it was burnt, it'd be hard to tell that it's Meta Knight so everyone would assume Kirby. I thought it was Bowser under the covers.
