If this has been said pls delete!
Did anyone notices that Link was yelling at Sheik that This is my area.
This points to a few things, one, Sheik is separate to Zelda in this universe or Link does not know Sheik is Zelda
Since I dont think Link would be very to have his beloved on the front lines

Also just read in the on-canon licensed manga for Ocarina of Time it says that Zelda used the Triforce of Wisdom to actually become male while disguised as Sheik, and sealed away the consciousness of Zelda. Hurray for Sheik/Link slash

I'm willing to bet that Shiek is Zelda in this universe. and her dressed as Shiek allows her to go undercover and manipulate to police. or something.

As I posted before, Zelda and Sheik were portrayed by separate actresses. Might be nothin', might be somethin'...

Well...she does change her appearance in Brawl, not just her clothes.

Well this is my first time posting, and I didn't read everyones theories across the boards but does anyone else think Sheik is working with Ganon? I think it makes a lot of sense. If I understand correctly Hyrule got absorbed by the Mushroom Kingdom right? So Ganon could be working with Sheik to knock off the dons, making it easier for her to take the throne from Peach and make like a new Hyrule. But since Link declared Martial Law, now she has to wipe him or the majority of the cops out, which is where Ganon comes in. He terrorizes the streets and upsets the balance of the dons so now Bowser comes in to take control. Bowser and the cops fight each other and Ganon cleans up the mess. Ganon takes control of the underworld and Zelda takes control of the Kingdom.
That's my theory of their plan anyway :/

Considering that Matt (Ganon) and JoEllen (Zelda) are dating (according to Facebook, mind you), that theory (Zelda actually working with Ganon) doesn't sound that farfetched... :3
