There Will Be Brawl - RISK

The 'risk' part of the title is derived from the boardgame of the same name, the whole title though is based purely on 'TWBB' and was (unknowningly) inspired by JGH27 and others with the rise in talk of joining "Mario's Army", "Luigi's Army" and so on. So I decided to make a topic out of it while the chaos flooding the streets of the Mushroom Kingdom appears to be in full swing.

Rules are simple, post whose banner you are rooting (not in vulgar context ) for out of the surviving cast and discuss why. In the ensuing episodes if the character your waving the banner for dies, you lose. If they live on into the next episode, you obviously picked the right side. You don't have to wave a banner for any of the major characters (eg: Mario, Luigi, Ganondorf, Sandbag, Kranky Kong), if your partial to throwing yourself in with the likes of Fox, Wario, Pit or the apparant cult leader Olimar by all means do so, discussing why is heavily encouraged. If you aren't inclined to fight alongside a particular character then perhaps you'd feel more comfortable describing who you'd hide with while the metaphorical bob-ombs drop and see if you survive the fallout that way?

To generalise all this in one of those "Why didn't you just say that instead?" ways, this is a discussion topic on who you the poster believes will survive the mayhem and why as well. The 'game' aspect is what I guess you could call and add-on.

MENTOK has settled on using his mind taking powers to further the goals of the koopa troopers because let's face it, I'm a sucker for the underdog and with the potential for Mario rounding up an army of vagrants to take Bowser on while his contending with those already capable of striking at the Koopa Castle, his going to need all the help he can get. BEEEOOOWEUUUUU!

I wasn't sure whether to pick Weegee, or Pokemon Trainer, but I settled on a team that I will probably regret choosing...and am going to choose anyway.

I support Team Samus.

She's affiliated with the good guys, but you can't help but suspect that she has other motives and her fair share of secrets. Although unlike Wario, she's not the type to switch sides so flippantly and sell the secrets of each to the other. She just wants her bounties back. She's smart and she knows what she's doing - even though with her affiliation to Luigi and co she was in quite a bit of danger. But then again, nobody is safe.

Besides, "I'm a girl, I have to pick the girl character!" (but not Zelda because I have my suspicions about her...)

And yes, I'm picking a character who is basically (despite her affiliations) on her own. Not flying the banner of the Mushroom Kingdom OR Hyrule.

...now I just hope I haven't misinterpreted everything and got this all wrong. In my defence, I'm sleepy. D:
