Interesting that you brought up the whole Zelda thing. I imagine we're going to see her character develop more the second she gets her queen status. Wonder how that's going to play out. Maybe something Twilight Princess-esque? Remember, in TP, Zelda was about to be crowned Queen. Perhaps Ganon or Bowser will attempt to usurp her before she gets the chance to be Princess?

That might mean that Bowser's castle is not yet destroyed at the start of episode 9. I'm willing to bet that the event which destroys the castle happens in episode 9 when our heroes enter the place.

This'll probably be the case. Maybe Luigi's party caused it?

Wait. Now that I think of it, this is something I wanna bring up...at the end of Episode 7, the Captain suggests to Luigi that he go home. When he does, he takes some people with him, notably Samus. If the theory that Samus is the butcher is to be believed (which I don't want to, personally), it's entirely possible that in the time it took them to get to Bowser's, she was able to slaughter Yoshi and put him where he was.

And now that I think it, I would have thought that the news would report the appearance of Luigi at the castle during the incident, so it's entirely possible that they're somewhere else.

Fox is going to die at some point. We're slowly running out of space animals.
