Personally, I think it could be just about anyone, but my bet is on Kirby...
HOWEVER, I don't think he is doing it without some way to protect his identity.

Don't you think it's a little bit weird for the costume/prop designers of this series to have been too lazy to make a seperate Kirby and MetaKnight while they've made such awesome costumes for everyone else???
I understand reusing Falco's beak for King Dedede, but to almost completely skip making a seperate costume?
You can tell they reused Kirby's body for MetaKnight by the color...
Or maybe it's not MetaKnight at all!

I think Kirby is using MetaKnight as a disguise to leave his cell and wreak his havoc because...
1.Why else whould MetaKnight be so rarely seen compared to the other officers (Marth etc.)?
2.DeDeDe said he was having an appointment with an important man, maybe it was MetaKnight?
3. MetaKnight should be blue instead of pink (like kirby.)
4.You never see Kirby and MetaKnihgt at the same time. When he said he would be watching Peach in the jail, it was kind of ominous. And why the heck does Kirby know so much about what's going on outside?
5.Where's MetaKnight's sword? The only part of MetaKnight's costume they made just for him were the gloves, cape, and shoes.

It's just my take on things, and I know my theory has holes but that's my idea.
Either they did that intentionally to throw people like me off, or they just happened to be running out of cash when they made the costumes for that episode and decided to recycle.
Either way, I love the series and I can't wait to see how things play out!

They could have at least just painted it blue for MetaKnight. Even the arms stayed Pink and those didn't even move.

Actually the arms do move, If you ever see a photo of the whoe puppet while someone is in it you will see that there are little bags that the operator sticks their hands in.

They had to go back and edit it in post production, so the color wasn't perfect. It was something that Matt or Zach admitted they didn't have time to fix. But hey, you could be right about him being the man DDD was set to meet with.

Okay.. I'm not a long term fan of the Mario Bros, but I am familar with it for the most part. As we all know, Bowser has been a long term villian of the Mario Bros. But with this new world Matt and Zach created, don't you think it would be a bit cliche? I mean, why not someone we don't suspect? Someone or something off beat? And... what if it was "actually" Mario himself? o.0 So, what are your thoughts about who the killer is?
