Just Because all stories these days love to put twists on things, and It would be the fun idea of Sheik as the Psychotic Side of Zelda.
That and she has The Smallest things that you can use to cut.

I personally think it's Tabuu.

I have no logic behind this, just a gut feeling.

It's Master Hand. Think about it. He's a floating, dismembered hand, and he's out to make the world (or in this case, the Mushroom Kingdom) his pain.

Or at least that's what I think. I'm curious that if Master Hand does end up in this, how will they like... animate him?

I was going to say that it was Tabuu, after all it IS based on brawl. Then again, it COULD be master hand doing the work of Tabuu... but the police would have known who it was because they have encountered MAster HAnd before.

My vote is for Tabuu, or Subspace Minion.

I'd say Master Hand is the Overlord in all this political Corruption.

First of all, I suggest that there is not one, but TWO killers. Wario states that all that was left of "those kids they found"- Roy and Pichu- were their "tiny guts." Why would someone need a hollowed out body? One word: taxidermy. After all, you can't have a Smash story without trophies... I'd put the blame on Mr. Game & Watch, who, as explained by the plot of Brawl, has the ability to bring trophies to life.

Mewtwo's killer, however, was someone else entirely. If you listen to the police report, there's obviously much more than the internal organs left behind. I suggest the enigmatic Ganondorf hired a hitman, maybe Snake or Wolf, to take advantage of the commotion and destabilize the stalemate by offing one of the mob bosses.

I doubt that it would be Master Hard or Taboo, just because it would be hard to cast them.

It doesn't really strike me as something Meta Knight would do. I think everyone with a sword is going to end up on the police force, anyway- Link, Marth, Ike, Pit, and Meta Knight.

Well, okay. Since Kirby is a Hannibal Lecter parody, and Peach trying to use him to get into the mind of a killer is a parody of Silence of the Lambs, I would imagine the new murderer is in some capacity a Buffalo Bill parody. Buffalo Bill, if memory serves, was a transvestite who pretended to be injured in order to lure women to him so he could murder them and craft from their remains a "woman suit."

So let's see:
-Meta-Knight could possibly be it, but I doubt it. These are twisted versions of the characters, not completely different ones. Meta-Knight is actually just a blue Kirby with a sword, cape and mask.
-Zelda. Reverse equivalent to Buffalo Bill, fits the crossdressing bit.
-The way Wario was speaking about it, and how scary he overall is, it could be him, but we're not entirely sure yet.

I believe Wario's role in the overall story has been fulfilled. He's a skuzzy crook and nothing more. Maybe he also runs a prostitution ring or something, but I doubt he's the killer. And I'm not going to stand here and let you talk shit about the princess. You wanna take this outside?
