Re: The Legend of Zelda: Discussion.
So I just got Majora's Mask and it's awesome. I beat Woodfall Temple yesterday and saved the game in Clock Town.
But then I started it again today, and I was back at day one, with no bow and arrows. Even the mask I gained from Odolwa was gone.
What. The. Fuck.
Seriously, I spent an hour in the Woodfall temple. And now it's all gone for no reason?
Why is the saving system so stupid?

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Discussion.
How did you save?
If you used the Song of Time you should still have any essential items you got (bow, masks, heart pieces) you only lose things like dungeon keys and progress, rupees and arrows. If you used an owl statue everything should have saved but if you then loaded and turned off the game without saving again with either the song or a statue then the game would go back to the last time you saved with the Song of Time, it's only a temporary save.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Discussion.
Last night I remember saving at an owl statue and then turning off the console. Seriously, what the hell.
EDIT: Well, now I beat Woodfall temple again. Let's hope the saving system doesn't dick around anymore.
One question, though: Is there any way to save all the bombs and arrows I have? They always disappear when I travel in time. I know you can store the Rupees in a bank, but is there a similar system for your other stuff?

I don't think so... getting those was never a problem for me, though.

Re: The Legend of Zelda: Discussion.
Well yes, you can find them pretty easily. Just wondering.
Actually, I would seriously like Majora's Mask better than Ocarina of Time if the saving system wasn't so overly difficult. Oh well, it still seems like it's one of the best Zelda games.
