yeah, for once we got an event and we got it early! Started the 5th for us.

It was amazing to actually have an event, ahahaha. Is this the Arceus that, if you take over to HG/SS, you get a choice of a lv 1 Dialga, Palkia or Giratina? If so, I'll take it over for the cut scene. There's not much point in me getting one cause I already have all three in Platinum but hey, it's somewhat cool.

Dunno if the Aussie one is the event Arceus, but I know that the Arceus we're getting is definitely the HG/SS Event Arceus.

Yup. We're awesome.

But yeah, the deal is you get the event Arceus, take it to this place in HG/SS, and Cynthia will give you either Dialga, Palkia or Giratina at lv 1. It's good if you have Diamond or Pearl, makes it easier to get the one you couldn't get cause you could then trade it over and stuff. I have all of them in Platinum though but whatever, might make a nice addition to my team (one that I'll never use, most likely). I just want to see that random cut scene, ahaha.

Also with the Arceus, if you have it in your party, there's this random guy you go find in Oreburgh Mine who attacks you with Wall Of Text and gives you a Flame Plate, then if you go to Canalave Library, you find him again and he casts an even bigger Wall Of Text.
(It's funny cause you also see Lucian from the Elite Four hanging out and reading a book).

The idea of a pokemon that can control it's type is pretty cool. But the idea of a god pokemon, yeah not so much.

I thought Mew was the pokegod. Then along came Arceus...

On a side note, I want to pull out my game boy colour, play Blue version, do the Mew cheat, get Mew, get someone else's game boy colour/advance and trade it to Silver, then get someone with a GBA and a WORKING cartridge and trade it to that, then use Pal Park and send it to Platinum.

No, Mew is theorised to be the ancestor of all non-deity Pokemon because it has the ability to learn all TM/HMs. It isn't really, but that's what the legend is.

Otherwise Mew is a pretty proficient breeder
