& you know what? Unless my eyes deceive me, he's using the 'Renegade' edition of the game (with the slick all black almost marble turnstable >.> That version retails for $200, but you get more songs, the new Eminem/Jay-Z CD, & the turnstable has legs on it so it can be self reliant). The price tag is pretty heft @ $120, so here's hoping that they do put out the OST Razz

Can't wait for Modern Warfare 2, next game on my list, then that's it for the rest of the year Cool

I can repair my bankroll & prepare for Bayonetta which begins my 2010 line-up of games. At the moment my list culminates with Valkyria Chronicles 2 in June, but that's only because I haven't gotten a solid date on FFXIV, which I'm gonna say is September....(just because XIII is slated for June) & also it looks like 360 owners gonna have to wait a bit longer than they hoped for XIV, since SE seems not to have even begun or thought of development for that system Razz

Actually, I need to update the 'Games on the Horizon' section sometime soon.........

P.S. Did anyone pick up Tekken 6 this weekend? Any challengers? >.> <.<

I am working on my Soul Calibur 2 skillz, I plan on having a friend over and getting a rematch. the last time we played (years ago) he dominated me. Hoping to turn the tables on him this time.

Which soul caliber 2 are we talking about? because Link is really cheap in the gamecube version.

Cheap or just awesome? Seriously though, Link has a lot of unsafe moves though.

Gamecube version, and I usually play as Cervantes, and more recently Ivy. I am good with a lot of other characters too (Raphael, Mitsurugi, Astaroth) but I am working on whooping my friend with Ivy.

Also, even though I like using link, he is by no means overpowered. If anything he kinda sucks.

I love playing as Ivy. So much fun to whip around that whip-blade. And I agree with Link. He does kinda suck cause of a LOT of unsafe moves and his bombs and arrows are easily avoidable. that said, though, I loved playing as him.

Yeah, as cool as Link is, his shit is weak in this game. I only started playing Ivy recently, but I am such a beast with her.

I think Ivy can be beast period regardless of skill level. I find there's just a very nice flow with her that I at least found very easy easy to understand and use.

As for Link, my buddy is an assassin with him. It's pathetic on our feeble attempts at beating him.

Astroth was my other main besides Ivy and going 22-0 against my buddies YoshiMitsu (sp?) I was very impressed. Apparently my buddy thinks Astroth is too fast lol. Towards the end Cassandra and Cervantis became my other 2 as well as the occasional Lizardman lol

People underestmate how quick and ranged Asty is. Even though he has a bunch of slow moves, he has a lot of reliable, quick, and ranged attacks with little risk. Used correctly, he's deadly.
