What's Your Most Memorable Boss Battle?
Yep. Title is pretty self explanatory. List the most memorable boss battle you've encountered and why. Was it tougher than nails? Cool character? Awesome music? I would nominate a boss from Baten kaitos Origins, but for the sake of discussability (which is now officially a word), I'm going with the final battle with Ganon in the Wind Waker. Not really hard, but damn was it epic. And it did the unheard of and developed Ganondorf's character.

So I'm slightly undercultured in some gaming circles. I accept your Goldfish, and raise you one Ulmeida of Killer 7.

Yes, definately one of my most memorable. Best ending to any Zelda game.
Other memorable ones are the final bosses in Metroid Prime 1 and 3. Both were hard, the Prime 3 one even harder because you were given a sort of time limit. I ended up beating the Prime 1 boss first try after taking a month break from it, because it was that hard for me at the time.

DUDE. YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT. OCARINA OF TIME IS, LIKE, STANDING RIGHT THERE. You hurt his feelings. Apologize.

No. I stand by it. Ganondorf takes the Masters Sword into the head and the King of Hyrule makes a wish and goes down with the Kingdom. Truly the best of the Zelda endings.

I don't remember it, and I beat the game after Wind Waker. Seriously, just doesn't stick out.

Back on topic: GLaDOS from Portal was, if a bit easy, pretty incredible.

Don't forget the Omega Pirate and the Boost Ball Gaurdian. I wanted to gouge my eyes out after getting killed fifteen times in a row by those guys.

Let's see, awesome bosses? Haha, I remember trying to beat The End in MGS 3, and failing miserably. I turned the game off for a few months, and when I turned it back on, he was dead! =D I nearly crapped myself in how awesome it was. Best boss battle ever.
Seriously, though? I dunno. I play too many RPGs to remember a good half of them right now. xp
